I know it was really sad when Haldir died. The look on his face...... it was pure shock. It's always striking and moving to see an Elf die.
I mean, look how sad this is:
On the plus side, his eyes look really pretty in this picture. Alright I know. It's really sad.

FRODO BAGGGINS!
and Peregrin Took
I love his sheer innocence and cuteness i also lovehis braveness and for his humour, pippin. Tom Bombadil rules too though.

In FotR? That'd be Aragorn, Gandalf, or Frodo. Definately. If it was the movie, ooh...then it'd be something different.

Maybe I'm just wierd, but I actually think the best movies are the ones where main characters die (i.e. Gladiator). Lord of the Rings is an exception.

My favorite was Boromir-- and then when he died, and I sobbed for hours-- it became Gandalf.

I know I've already posted, but because it's his birthday........... FRODO.
I've just finished decorating his cake. Chocolate with blue sprinkles that spell out the word Frodo. I'm going to take a picture of it, so maybe I'll post it if I can scan it in!
*sigh* Frodo. He's so unutterably marvelous.

Goldberry is pretty cool. I like her. I don't knwo much about her though, considering the only thing I've read where she is mentioned is LOTR, and there she wasn't talked about very much. is she in the Adventures of Tom Bombadil? Because I have that, but I haven't read it yet. I'm curious. I know she's not a Maia. more like a River Spirit. A Niad maybe? Hmm.... curious.

One of my favorites would have to be Theoden. I love how he is saved from a base existence, and later finds redemption in his death on the Pelenor Fields.

I hope when I go, I can say I have no shame for my existence.
