Hey, check this out! In Bend, Oregon, USA they are making a community where you can purchase houses that look like... the SHIRE!!! It's based off England in the 18th century with Tudor houses and such, but they are even going to have Hobbit dwellings for storage sheds and such. Lookie here for the Hobbit dwellings.

The main site is here and just browse through if you want to. I'm soooo sorry that they're currently not making it in a place where my parents are considering to buy property. I mean, most of your neighbors would be LOTR fans since the place is called "The Shire" and I can already imagine kids running around barefooted during the summer.

As for me, right here would be the perfect house. It's got a pantry (we likes pantries, yes precioussssss), horses for the interior, and has Rohan written all over it.

Anybody else think this is cool?
