The dwarf smiled ear to ear, and snagged Edmund by the ear. "Come on little prince..." he led Edmund away by the ear towards a dark cold hallway.

Little did Edmund realize, that Venrus Olf, the witch's head wolf, was pacing back and forth near the end of the hallway.
He heard foosteps approach and his long grey ears poked up.

Planted on his red flustered face was a nasty, muddy black shoe print from that little brat's foot.

Edmund ran into something hard, gray and smelly...they both got knocked over, and Edmund got up in great fear and began to run again like a madman

Venrus yelped as he was knocked over. He shook himself off and watched as the boy.....or prey in his eyes.....took off. He growled lowly and then dashed toward Edmund with full speed.
