Xarw looked at the sun with his eyes narrowng, but a smirk on his face as he saw Cyznul`s reaction.

"Its a beatiful sight when it comes up and even more beatiful when it goes down, you`ll get probably used to it over time or so I think... and yes polymorph should fool the guards yet we have to lookout for mages that might detect such spells..."

"Human mages," Cyznul snorted, going through his pockets for the necessary spell components. He began casting.

Five minutes later, two slender surface elves were walking towards the gates of Luskan to join the line of merchant carts already waiting there.

Xarw examined the first the walls of the city, then the guards at the gate and then at the merchant line before them. Sometime passed until they were able to get on their turn to the gate, the guards acted normally as they saw them yet went on with the simple rutine.

"Hello there elves, what might be your business in Luskan?"

Aside from an accent, Cyznul was well versed in the surface languages. He replied smoothly, "Business of course."

The guard rolled his eyes and nodded them to go on.

"Business"

The guard muttered as they passed onto the packed street, Xarw looked around with a smile as they walked down the street.

"Now let us find a place to get rations from... and keep an eye out for mages"

Cyznul nodded agreement, searching his purse for coins. He doubted his wealth at the moment would sustain him very long. The bulk of it had been stored in Sorcere, and the rest had perished with House Vren'arach.

They attracted no more than a few curious looks, but shrugged them off easily enough. Cyznul caught sight of the marketplace ahead.

Xarw found a suitabe store that seemed to have fair enough prices and went in alone t do business leaving Cyznul to do whatever he wanted. Xarw did look back and realised that he was being watched from time to time by commoners. Whatever the reason was he didn`t care nor did he want to know what went trough the minds of the simple humans.

Cyznul walked up and down the rows of market stalls, avoiding the more crowded areas. He found a food vender and purchased some rations. He walked past a tavern, and some of the talk near the windows drifted out to him.

"...cursed dark elves. Priests of the Masked Lord, I reckon..."

Curiousity piqued, Cyznul entered the tavern to hear more.

Xarw threw the rations bags that he had prepared for a long journey on his shoulders, he walked trough the market off to find some horses all tough he did catch an eye of an elf slipping into an inn. It might have been Cyznul... or not. Xarw shrugged and went forth to the stables to buy horses, he sure as hell wasn`t going to get on a boat.

Too risky besides nor were his experiences with water comfortable, yet putting that aside luckily his coins were accepted as proper money all tough they were found rather funny by the shopkeeper. Yet they passed, which was the main thing all tough the worst thing might be that a drow would come along to the city and get hands on the coins. It would start questions yet he guessed that they would be too far off by then.

Cyznul kept his hood on when he entered, seeing the group by the window and discreetly taking a seat near their table. He hunched over and did his best to look disinterested. Fortunately for him, the tavern was crowded and the innkeeper had his hands full.

"...raids north of Neverwinter."

"From the Underdark?"

"They knew the terrain too well..."

"Hey! You wanna say something?"

Cyznul jerked to find of the humans glaring at him. He began rising to leave, but another human's mood brightened considerably when he saw the elven features.

"Elf, you have knowledge of the drow?"

"A bit. Why?"

The man puffed up his chest. "My mates and I are bounty hunters. Those drow have a handsome price on their heads. We could use your expertise in ridding Faerun of their filth."

A number of colorful insults contended on Cyznul's tongue, but he snapped his mouth shut.

"We'll share the money with you. Think about our offer. If you decide to come, return to this inn. My name's Farrow."

Cyznul nodded once and exited the tavern. Once outside, he stopped to relish the opportunity. They could track down these surface drow - priests of Vhaerun hopefully - and establish themselves.... He hurriedly set off to find Xarw.

Xarw arrived trough the crowd on a horse and had another tied to the other one so that it would follow, the horses were now carrying the rations and Xarw smirked as he saw Cyznul. He quickly waved his hand before stopping to stare at Cyznul.

"Finnished with your business here?"

Cyznul shook his head. "We need to talk," he said, leading Xarw into a less crowded area. "We can't remain aimless wanderers for long. I heard of a group of drow priests north of Neverwinter. This is the kind of opportunity we can utilize to our advantage."

"Oh can we?"

Xarw asked with an intriqued smile and leaned forward.

"So you want us to go kill drow priests for what? Satisfaction or is there a bounty on them?"

Xarw asked as Cyznul had mentioned that they couldn`t stay as aimless wanderers.

"That could be an option," Cyznul mused. "Or..." He shrugged. "We could join them. Leave the Spider Queen behind and establish ourselves on the surface."

"What?!"

Xarw shouted and tried to hold his hand so that he wouldn`t slap Cyznul across the face.

"Who do you think tried to have me killed? Who do you think I was part of? We would die in our sleeps"

Cyznul's eyes narrowed, thinking that Xarw's presence with him might not be such an asset after all. He sublimated his treacherous thoughts, though, reasoning that a lone drow on the surface world would quickly mean a dead drow. Instead, he shrugged. "Then we infiltrate them and kill them. We need the money."
