One soldier jumped down from his horse and came towards Aiden, his sword up. Aiden smiled a bit and brought his own sword up. The guard lunged forward-Aiden blocked his blow. They began fighting in earnest, slashing, lunging, blocking, each trying to get the better of the other. Finally Aiden, dodging a blow, caught the soldier on the side. He drew blood and as the soldier leaned over in pain, Aiden finished him off.

Lynna leapt from the tree onto one of the horsemen, knocking him from the saddle. She slips down astride the horse and turns it's head sharply back towards the fight. Lynna unsheaths a sword from a backsheathe and slices down through the man's neck as he stands......

She raced forward, not bothering with technique but lethaly finding the weaknesses in armor and quickly thrusting her sword through small slits and weak points.

Nimue moved swiflty as a guard attacked her, holding the dagger at chest-height. Her movements were quick and she ducked as the guard tried to strike. Then at the moment he tried to stab her again, she jumped to the side, thrusting her dagger in his neck.
Blood stained her dress, but Nimue didn't notice it. She looked around, hoping the others were okay and blocked the way of another guard, starting a fight again.

Aiden killed another soldier, then spun around with his sword up. There weren't any more soldiers, though, that weren't fighting with others.

Concentrated at the sword of her opponent Nimue sometimes stretched her arms to strike. This soldier was quicker than the other and jumped away in time. It seemed like a deadly game: the first would strike to await the other's chance to kill.
This soldier though was a skilled fighter and Nimue was only a second too late to jump away. She felt theblade touch her shoulder, a sharp pain and then the warm blood started to wet the fabric of her dress.
With a cry she fell on the ground while the soldier laughed, convinced of his victory, ready for the final strike.
But Nimue roled away, dizzy yet still concetrated on her dagger and the soldier's sword, and sliced his Akele's heel. She watched the soldier clutch for his ankle and then thrusted her dagger in his neck.
Breathing heavily, she sank at the ground next to the dying soldier, her hand touching her shoulder lightly, looking for the others.
