Caunion politely excused himself and found Natalie and danced with her for almost eternity. She looked stunning that night especially with the light illuminating her features.

Gwen came in from the gardens, and planted herself at the nearest table which she used for balance to slip off her heels.
"My aching feet..." she moaned at the beautifuly crafted shoes in her hand.
Now I feel at home, she thought to herself as a merry hobbit came waltzing by. Grinning, she looked around and saw that over half of the population of guests were also bare-footted.

After acting rather silly for a few minutes, Luthien returned inside to the dance floor. More than one guest had passed out around the room, and the snoring was somewhat entertaining. A few hardy folk were still dancing, but the majority of the guests had made their way to chairs.
She followed Gwen and plunked herself down beside her at the table. "What a night! Wasn't it just glorious?" She hummed 'I Could Have Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady contentedly.

"I am sorry to interrupt your dancing, but I must request your presence in the garden. If you would be so kind as to meet me there, I have a few words for you."
With that, she left the room.
