Another doctor walked over to Winter and Conrad and said, "You two need to come to the hosiptal for exzamination." Conrad sighed and tightened his grip on Kuzco's leash-thing.

Conrad got into the ablumance, sitting down and heard the doors shut loudly and felt the car shake as the engine started.

Winter climbed into the ambulance behind Conrad, sitting down. She looked behind them-a nurse climbed into the ambulance Hayden was in and shut the doors. The vehicle slowly pulled out and followed them.

Conrad felt the bumps in the road as they left the scene of disaster. He sighed heavily as Kuzco panted loudly.

Winter sat uncomfortably in the ambulance. She tried to think of something to say to break the relative silence, but couldn't.

Lee was already at the hospital and she looked up sleepliy into an bright light, her arms stiff and her side still bloody and banaged. "What...happened?"
Conrad patted Kuzco as Kuzco quieted down a bit.

Finally the ambulance arrived at the hospital. Winter climbed out of the vehicle stiffly, then went towards the ambulance she had seen Hayden put into. "This way, miss." A nurse pointed towards the hospital.
"I'm just going to check on my friend." Winter said.
"We'll take care of him, just come on inside." Winter reluctantly followed the woman.
<i>Hayden didn't feel anything through his sleep as he was taken from the ambulance and moved into a hospital room.</i>

Someone led Conrad away from the ambulance and lead him and Kuzco into Lee's room. Conrad could tell by Kuzco's crazy barking that someone he knew well was in the room. "Lee?" He guessed and heard an muffled and sore laugh.
Lee smiled at Conrad's entrance. "Conrad, bro! You are okay!" She couldn't remember if he was okay last time she saw him because of the medience that she was given eariler that day. Kuzco lead Conrad over to her and she grabbed his hand for her side was wrapped up and stitched up. "I miss you, man." She whispered and Conrad smiled.

Winter followed Conrad into a hospital room. She stopped in the doorway, smiling.
