Basically seeing as the other med rp didnt get up and running i'd thought i'd make my own.
Here's the story: (and btw none of this is true)
It is the year 1298 and the English have invaded France again. So far the English army has been unstopable and managed to march upon the capital, Paris. However the city's walls are massive and it has a large garrison of men inside so an attack would be foolish and suicidal. So the English King has set his army up around the great fortress trying to starve them into submission. The army have been outside the walls for almost a month and the city shows no signs of surrender. Word has spread of another French army massing in the south to lift the siege of paris.

So you can be either in the English Army, French Army or in the city itself as whoever you want.

Name: Lord Richmond
Age: 36
Location: English Army, Outside Paris
Apperance: Large man with broad shoulders. Clean shaven, always in mail, ready for battle. Looks rugged even though he is part of the nobility.
Personality: Fights for only one reason, to increase his wealth by plundering the enemy towns and cities. Always wanting to defeat the French.
History: A soldier who has served under 2 kings and been on 3 campaigns into france. He dispises the french and will do anything to see them in ruin and so that he is richer.

Name: Armained Sarind
Age:22
Location: outside the French walls
Apearance: around 6' 1" tall, light beard, black shoulder legnth hair, always ready for anything especially battle.
Story: He was orphaned at the age of ten and lived on the street for twelve years. That year he found his father's will that said he wanted Armained to join the army. When he joined his first campaign was the second invasion of Frace.
Personality: Keeps to himself alot and doesn't care for the French that much. He doesn't care for money and wealth. Only fights for his father's honor.

Name: Margaret (Maggie) Wall
Age: 28
location: inside the city... but wants to work for the english army as a spy
appearance: 5'7 and very muscular. a rounder face... however not chubby. curly dirty blonde hair and green eyes. could easily pull off a disquise as a man. has a deeper voice.
personality: was never satisfied with a normal life. she loves adventure and wants nothing more but to live a life of a man. she is tough, brave and a good fighter.
history: abused as a child, she has always had a blank page of her past: childhood. for the beginning, she was mature... however without her parents knowing, she caused much mischeif in paris. she hates the french people because her family line is in fact Irish. she wants to get out of there, and with the english army here, she wants to spy for them.

I don't know if this rp is still going to be up and running, cuz no one has posted in a long time, but if it is then I'll join.

Name: Thomas Rashton
Position: English Archer, leader of a small batallion of archers, 25 men strong, he signed up to join in this campaign against the french whom he hates for hating english archers.
Appearance: 6'2, muscular build, very muscular arms, dark brown hair down to about his neck in the back, eyes in front. Wears leather armor, and thick gloves to protect his hands from the bow. Bright blue eyes, looks rugged and only shaves about once a week.
Personality: He shows no mercy towards any enemy, and the french he would like to see tortured rather then just killed. He thinks they looked best roasted. He is however friendly and very giving to those he knows well, but shows only his tough side to others in the army that are not acounted as close friends. He does his best and is a good leader, being able to make desicions in a seconds notice and usually choosing right. However he is quick to anger, and last to forgive, although he has much patience and an everlasting goodness to any child, even french.
History: Was born in a small village called Hookton off of the coast of England. His father was a hunter and tracker and had passed all his knowledge down to his son. His mother died when he was five from disease but he still had fond memories of her.
Animals: Has a horse named Ameir, a black warmblood, with long flowing mane and a longer tail.
Possessions: A yew bow and an arrow bag which he normally keeps around his neck. One dagger at his belt, one longer knife and another dagger in his right boot. He usually wore a black cape that reached down to his knees.

Yeah, I have I just kinda re-did his character, the personality is different, although where he comes from might be the same. I think their appearance is different too...I don't remember how the book described except with the long braid and tall. Well, well. I hope it's okay that I use him.

Status: French nobility, Is a descendant of Eleanor of Aquitaine.
Appearance: 5'6", very feminine looking, has long golden hair, pale clear complexion. Is known for her beauty.
Personality: Enjoys being feminine when she wants to but, has been secretly taught the art of swordplay and fighting. She sometimes rebels against the confines that come with being nobility and sneaks off.
History: Has been raised as a French nobleman's daughter, but throughout the various wars with England she has always felt that the French were wrong and the English were right. She is now living in England with a distant uncle Geoffrey, Duke of Brittany. Is named after one of her ancestors, the eldest daughter of Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Name: Lee
Age: 17
Location: English Army, Outside Paris
Apperance: She is stongly built and her hair is at an boy's length. She wears an pair of old breeches, an white t-shirt and an jacket, which she never takes off. She also wheres an pair of old boots.
Personality: She fights because she has to prove herself to her family and to save her brother's life. Her brother was supposed to go to war, but he fell ill. So, late at night, Lee cut her hair and went in his stead. She has yet to be discovered, though is getting rally close.
History: Lee and her family has always been poor merchants. Lee hopes that the French's downfall will help her families status and the English Empire.

History: he never had parents.. he doesn't remember his parents or anyone.. he thought of his guardian as his father and sided with him... but now he is a loner..

History:Her family were wheel makers in Ireland, but business was bad so the family moved to France, were they became more wealthy with their job. Annalett despises the French because a french man murdered her younger sister when she was 13. Now she sneeks out of Paris through a secret door to help the English as much as she can.
persinallity: Always willing to do almost anything to help. Very quiet at times, but speeks up if she needs to. More of a tomboy than anything and loves horses.

Personality: independent, brave, adventurous, ambitous, stubborn, has a bad temper
History: Adela's parents were somewhat well off when Adela was a child, but one night there house caught on fire and they lost everything. Her parents recently caught an illness and died. She survived alone by playing her flute in the street for money. Now that Paris is under seige by the English she is determined to escape to England and start a new life.
