You made what?? I love you, Tinuviel!
I told my friend at school that I was excited because of Frodo's birthday and I got this look:
Some of your pictures didn't work, but the rest was extremely beautiful. (And you're right about the pointed ears!!)
One of my favourites of all time:
Yes, I just had to take the eyes. I'm sorry!
5. becauseof everything he did to save Middle-earth
And thanks for the cake! I'd love to take the "F"...

*slips in quietly through the door* Surprise! Sorry--We got in really late last night, and i haven't gotten on the computer till now. I came straight here, though, when i did! I missed you muchies, lol! *tackle hugs everyone* Welcome, Frodos-Guide! I'll add you to the list. Nice pictures, TT.
Now for a quote...
(after they leave the Green Dragon in the EE FotR, i think) Frodo: Don't worry, Sam. Rosie knows an idiot when she sees one. (Nothing wrong with sad quotes, of course--i rather like 'em--it's just that a light-hearted one came to mind... )
Reasons we love Frodo:
7. Because his spirit is so beautiful/There's an Elvish light shining inside him. (Thanks for leaving me that one, TT!)
8. Because of his indescribably delightful spunk. (The chicken dance is but one example of this, lol)
9. Because of his lovely chewing! (And I get this one )
Oooh, the Frodo cake sounds exquisite! *takes a piece and chews contendly, speaking of which *
And most importantly...
Happy Birthday Frodo!
I've already privately wished him happy birthday several [s]dozen[/s] times, but you can never do it too much. I've written a couple Frodo-related poems and am working on a picture of him (and Little Sam), which i'll post for you guys when i have time.
*raises glass* To Frodo, our dearest treasure

Thanks muchies!
Oooh, i've always loved that part too. You can really see the Elvish light. His mouth is rather small and adorable there...[s]fights urge to kiss him[/s] lol Well, if you're going to be the sun kissing him, then...
lol anyway, sorry i took the chewing. However you took his hair, which i've always adored. So thick, dark and curly...it does amazing things, you know--or at least i thought so when trying to draw it. lol
More why we love Frodo
14. He speaks some Elvish (Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo--Quenya, the same kind of Elvish i speak )
15. He seems to have a natural ability to talk to the high and the great without being shy or embarrassed or anything.
16. He often dreamed of the Sea (though he'd never seen it till the Havens) and seemed to have a wish to see it.
17. He's (in my opinion) a born wanderer. (I think he was meant to wander without having to worry about a dark errand, and he'll get to do that in Elvenhome. )
18. He loved his friends very much, and didn't want them to be too sad at his leaving.
19. He gave up the Shire so that others could keep it (I believe Forever quoted what he said about that as well). Btw, is this too similar to number 5?
20. Because of his beautiful smile.
21. Because of the gap between his teeth.
All right i'd better stop--i got a bit carried away...

As I already said in the other club, Eariel, it's goos to have you back *tacklehugs*
TT, your pictures were lovely (as usual). I think it's just the shadow that makes his mouth look that small in the pic.
*points acclaimingly at Eariel* Don't you dare to kiss him! Not before I did
Lol, just kidding.
22. He is inspiring for many artists (including my favourite poet *glances at Eariel*)
23. He is the most polite person I know
24. Because of the way he takes care for Sam
25. Because he's the most beautiful of all hobbits

Well, he is my virtual partner on the A-U family tree, so I have an excuse...sort of. But let's not go there.
Aw, i'm honored to be your favorite poet, if that's what you meant.
Continuing...uh-oh, i have reasons-why-we-love-him-block! Oh no! Quite a change from yesterday. Oh--i know:
26. Just because.
27. He's like a star wrought by Varda. *dreams*
Edit: I'm now an official Ent! Hoom hum Wouldn't make a good Ent--i like being 'hasty' at times. Very painstaking sometimes, though.

*fights Eariel off of Frodo* A duel to the death! Only lets not because it could probably be messy and I love you both far too much to fight with you.
I think maybe you were right about the shadow there Forever, but either way, his mouth did look adorably small. Yet, very.................Frodoesque. Ooh. I like that. Frodoesque. I've invented a new word.
Reasons why we love Frodo to pieces:
28. he looks good even when he's frozen half to death
29. He looks extra lovely when he's sopping wet
30. He has amazing jumping abilities, especially when being chased by Nazgul (The Bucklberry Ferry scene) (That was realy Elijah doing that stunt by the way. You guys probably knew that, but I thought I'd point it out.)
31. His nostrils. They're very nicely shaped.
32. Not only can he relate and speak freely to the high and great, but he also knows how to just have fun and have a couple of pints with his fellwo Hobbits
33. Because of his amazing capacity to love
And, you knew it was coming, more pictures:
http://www.theargonath.cc/characters/fr ... galen2.jpg
http://www.theargonath.cc/characters/fr ... galen4.jpg < a full body picture of Frodo. Or mostly body anyway. We haven't had too many of these. i tend to like ones that get closer to his face. For obvious reasons.
http://www.theargonath.cc/characters/fr ... alen21.jpg <Here's a kind of weird one, but it really shows off the gap in his teeth
http://www.theargonath.cc/characters/fr ... alen18.jpg <So brave.....
http://www.theargonath.cc/characters/fr ... aking7.jpg < So sad........
http://www.theargonath.cc/characters/fr ... ming19.jpg <- So beautiful..............
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, the most important one of the day: chewing!

Lucky lembas bread! Nostrils, lol. Speaking of which...
More why we adore him
34. His nose! He has such a nice nose, lol. (We've swooned over his nose in this club before now, lol. So it's kind of an inside joke, i guess, like the chewing. )
35. He'll do anything fulfill his quest. (I was trying to come up with a reason that fit that scene where he's practically attacking the spiderweb with Sting in an effort to get through, lol. )
36. He looks good in dark colors. Or light colors. Or in between, i suppose.
37. He's so sweet and gentle and kind. And innocent. And spunky. And poetic. And selfless. And loving. And adorable. You get the picture.
Oh, TT seeing Frodo sad always makes me, well, sad. But I guess you and Forever know the feeling. I love those kinds of pictures even though they make my heart break, though. Btw, thank you for not fighting me to the death. It would have been very sad to leave Forever with just one other Frodo fan--we're scarce enough as it is, lol. But seriously, in a way i think he 'belongs' to all of us. And i don't think he'd mind that being the case, if you know what i mean. Hard to explain.

Hello everyone. I don't think anyone really missed me but I'm back from fighting with technology. (My computer completely crashed ). It looks like we started the "what we love about Frodo list". Let's see what I can come up with.
38. His astounding ability to take in all kinds of information act wise, and still be humble with his knowledge.
39.He knows how to use his fear and turn it into courage.
40. He loves people that love him. He's understanding and has passion in his heart.
41. He knows what it's like to fight for what's right even if it's not what he wants.

Don't be silly Itarilde! Of coursewe've missed you! Welcome back! Computers can be a pain sometimes I know. By the way, I absolutely love your reasons. They're very well said. I love the way you put each and every one of them.
Eariel dear, don't worry. I have no intentions of fighting you to the death. Only joking. You're right. Frodo belongs to all of us, as he does to everybody who loves him. You're right about us Frodo fan's being rather scrace though. Every other girl seems to be in love with Legolas or Aragorn. And yes, those two are brave and strong and have outstanding good looks. But they're not our Frodo. I guess it's something you really can't understand if you're not a Frodo fan. So yes. No need to fight over Frodo. We all love him. And that's enough.
Aye, lucky lembas bread indeed.
Yes. Of course I know what you mean. Seeing Frodo sad always always always makes me sad as well. Just looking at that one of him sad, and I can feel my chest starting to tense up and my eyes starting to water a bit. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I love him, but maybe it's because I also empathize in deep ways with his character. I can put myself in his place at that exact moment and to feel all the things he is feeling then....... it's painful. So yes. of course I know what you'r saying. And, I've just realized, that the last picture was the one on Forever's present. I knew it looked familiar.
More reasons:
42. Because he's played by this guy

Ahh. thanks TT. You have such a kind heart. I was having sort of a hard time when I said that, but I'm over it now.
By the way, lovely picture! Where did you find that?

Nice to see you, Itarilde.
Lovely picture indeed! That reason is excellent! Your reasons were good too, Ita. Like TT said.
I'm glad we're not fighting over him, lol. Those of us in the Frodo Club (it was before you joined, TT) were doing that at one point (well, several points ) a while back, but it's nicer when everyone agrees to 'share' him, if you know what i mean.
More reasons... *thinks* *looks at TT's picture*
43. He's very photogenic. I thought of another one during ballet class, but i've forgotten...Well, here's one...
44. Even tho the book said he wasn't often moved to write poetry (at least i think so), when he does it seems to turn out well. (I'm thinking of the lament for Gandalf that he wrote in Lothlorien in the book. I like that poem--especially since our beloved Frodo wrote it! You're right, TT, Aragorn and Legolas are noble and good-looking and everything, but they're not Frodo. And i guess it's hard to explain to someone who doesn't already know, lol. Well, I believe Blaise Pascal said something like, "The heart has its reasons which the reason cannot understand." How true!)
I have another Frodo poem for you, if you want to hear--well, read--it. This one is one of several that i wrote sort of in Evanescence's style. It's partly spoken by Frodo and partly by Arwen, in their respective 'darkest hours.' Actually, i believe it and that other one i posted a while back are the only ones i've written (so far ) about those two--with both of them in one poem, i mean. I like doing poems like that--i'll have to continue.
Edit: I found that it won't work on this site, so here is a link to it on my blog, lol.

(Hope that works...if not I'll try and fix it.)]
Edit: All right, here's the right link.

How gorgeous is his voice? I mean listen to him in scenes where he says:
'We set out to save the Shire Sam...but not for me..' That makes me
also
'I think we should get off the road...GET OFF THE ROAD...QUICK!'
'My dear Sam, you cannot forever be tolling around as one and a half. You have to be one. There is so much left for you to enjoy, and to be, and to do. Your part in this story will go on'
GOSH there are sooo many lush things he says with his lush voice. I tell you what really got me. The way he shouts 'GANDALF' in FOTR as Gandlaf falls with the Balrog! I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
