Not about to apologize, Raven nonetheless took on a more neutral expression. "Yes we want your help..we need it." she said, trying not to sound too pleading, that was the last thing she wanted.

The girl laughs softly. "Alright then.... I'll help you.. But I'll want something for it...... A place in your society....." Her eyes flash with a hope and determination not seen there before....

Ty looked at the two arguing girls and then to the base, more troops were gathering.
"Ok, look, I'm sure you two can finish your bickering later, but right now we need to move!"
((can you guys post most of the action?! I am soooo bad at that kind of thing, and I don't want to mess it up!))

(I think I can handle it, if Luin's not up for it..)
"I can't ensure any perfect place, but you will have a place nonetheless." Raven said, getting the last word in on the conversation, before removing her bow from its quiver. "But now..we have work to do."

((I think Luinnar left, so it's up to you, unless you want me to help. But I have no Idea what you have in mind.))

(I can handle it for now..I've got an idea in mind.)
After confirming the plan with her two companions, Raven slipped silently through the trees as she made her way steadily closer to the naval base. Thinking over the plan as she ran, she silently prayed that it would work, while preparing to handle her own responsibilities. As soon as the trees began to thin, she had to take to the open beach, moving as quickly as she could, while trying hard not to draw attention to herself. Finally reaching the pier, after what seemed to be forever, she slipped under it and backed up into the shadows it cast, and listened to the sound of thudding footsteps on the wood above her head.
Three..two..one.. she counted off mentally, then heard the telltale shout and clang of metal against metal. Her way was cleared for now, and she quickly slipped out from under the dock, moved onto it, and set about lighting the wooden ships alight. This took nearly five minutes, and the sounds of battle faded, to be replaced with shouts of rage from those soldiers nearest. Knowing she was in immediate danger, Raven caught sight of the last ship, the largest and grandest by far, and, after making sure it wouldn't catch fire, slipped her bow back into her quiver(she had long since run out of arrows), drew her sword and prepared for the intense battle that was to follow. Offering up another prayer, this one of deliverance and victory, she threw herself into the battle, violet eyes alight with a mixture of eagerness, anger, and hatred for those she killed.
(They need to kill off most of the soldiers, though a few escape to relate what happened..so the other two could be battling as well.)

Tynel charged after Raven, taking out his two hooked knives and twirled them around, injuring or even killing those in his path. He started for Raven, but a tall soldier blocked his path. Ty faked to be afraid, and as the soldier's sword came down he blocked it, and with his other knife, hooked the man's foot and pulled, knocking him to the ground. He then killed him, and went back to what he was doing. he ran for the docks, but was caught off gaurd as a soldier rammed his arm into Tynel's stomach, he fell to the ground and didn't get up before his foe imbedded his sword into Ty's left shoulder, Tynel cryed out, unexpecting to the move. He put away one of his knives and kept his arm to his chest and continued fighting right-handed. After escaping, he spotted Raven and Mira on what he presumed to be the Ursurper's flagship. He darted up on board.
"RAVEN! GO TO THE WHEEL! I'LL CUT THE LINES!" Ty yelled across the boat through the chaos, tellind Raven that they needed to leave, NOW.

Raven nodded her agreement and moved to do just that, but was sabotaged by soldiers who had hid out on the ship. It took her a few moments to kill them all, since there were four of them and one of her. After she killed them, she limped to the wheel, cringing every time she put weight on her left ankle, which was most likely broken. Once at the wheel, she leaned all her weight against it, then looked towards the dock. Waiting, feeling her pulse beating rapidly, she waited for the affirmation that the lines had been cut.

Ty quickly ran his long knife across the lines, separating them from the boat. He nodded to Raven, and she started to move the wheel. Once they were a safe distanve away from the docks, Tynel sat down and sighed. well at least that was over. He slumped forward suddenly and caught himself, and sreamed as he put weight on his left shoulder. He looked down on it and closed his eyes. He was loosing lots of blood.
((I have to go, it's almost 10:40 here, and my dad will get on to me in a few minutes, so I am going to get off. I will be on tomarrow!))

Hearing Tynel's scream, Raven lifted her head sharply and looked towards him, concern visible in her violet eyes. Leaving Mira in charge of the wheel, Raven soon came across bandages and other healing supplies, then, supporting herself on the railing of the ship, moved over to him. Once next to him, she realized just how badly he was hurt, and, eyes even more filled with concern, laid a hand on his good shoulder. "Sit down and let me look at that.." she said gently, shifting her weight so as to not put pressure on her left ankle.
(All right, we can continue tomorrow, then.)

((*Jaw drops* I leave for an evening! And...! Let's figure out a way back in...))
Footsteps were heard on the stairs leading belowdecks and a very confused girl emerged, her hat haphazardly jammed over her tangled mess of white-blonde hair and her coat very wrinkled. She obviously didn't expect to find anyone abovedeck, and froze in utter surprise as her eyes fell on the three.
After a moment of contemplation, she muttered crossly, "Can't a girl get some sleep without having her boat hijacked?" it was by no means her 'boat', but Thyiri tended to be rather skilled at brazening her way through any situation. "I say, what are you doing here?" she then demanded of the others, hands on her hips.

Tynel nodded and sat down so that Raven could take a better look at his wound. His eyes still closed, Ty heard a female voice from where he knew the stairs were. He opened his eyes to see her, but instead his vision lost its color and then went completely black. That was a sign of blood loss. He froze.
"Raven," He said nervously, "I can't see." She then told him something he couldn't understand and got up.

*jaw drops lower than Meldawen's*
Four pages in six hours? That's really fast. Since it looks like I got cut out of the loop, you might as well abandon most of my first couple posts except for the dream and waking up and stuff.
I'll find some way to join you guys now, but please go a little slower, because I can pretty much get on two or three times a day, for varying lengths of time, so I can't keep up with you guys if you keep going at this speed. I'm not against you guys using my character to advance the plot, though, if you feel you can't wait for me to post.
-----
Dalen had been walking up the beach when he noticed a small port in the distance with a number of ships docked. No walls? he asked himself in surprise. Scorn instantly became the strongest feeling he felt for the Usurpers, for not thinking about an attack from land.
When he got close to the docks, he slipped nearer, trying to stay in the shadows of the various buildings between him and the ships, and avoiding the various guards. Then he caught the sound of nearby battle, and abandoned all thought of caution, drawing his axe and pulling his shield in front of him, hurrying towards the conflict.
He caught sight of a man wielding hooked swords skillfully against a number of guards, while in the distance, flames licked the masts of all but one of the ships. About to step out and help the man, Dalen heard the soft sound of metal brushing leather and spun, lifting his shield as a guard swung a sword at his head. Four others were behind him, but Dalen was too occupied to notice much more than that. Blocking a second strike, he shoved out with his shield, knocking the human back, then spun his axe up, the spike on the back catching the man right below his ribs. Jerking his weapon back out, Dalen charged into the midst of the other guards, dodging an Elf's slender spear, and catching the blow from the dwarf's mace on his shield. A quick slash snapped the spearhead of the shaft, but undeterred, the Elf switched to using it as a quarterstaff. Dalen snarled unconsciously, kicking out behind him and breaking the leg of the human who thought he had been creeping up on him. Fools, he thought to himself. Usurpers never put up a good fight. Spinning his axe in a complex whirlwind of blows and blocks, he removed the head of the other surviving human guard, then broke the Elf's spear again, slicing him open from shoulder to hip. The dwarf just missed him with his mace again, but this time Dalen managed to step on the weapon before the dwarf could bring it back up and away from him. Weaponless, the dwarf backed away, and Dalen followed.
A moment later, he wiped his axe off and turned around, noting that there were no more guards in sight, but also that the strange man was gone, presumably towards the ship. Dalen sprinted in that direction, reaching the end of the dock just as the ship was pulling away. With a shout, Dalen leaped towards it, slamming his axe over the railing to give himself a grip, and grunting as he struck the side of the ship. Pulling himself up, he stood on the deck and stared.

" Your boat?" Raven asked darkly, turning and straightening, while restraining a grimace. "I highly doubt that." Kneeling next to Tynel again, she added crossly, "And as for what we're doing here, I'd rather keep that information to myself."
"Raven, I can't see."
" What?" Raven asked, almost in disbelief. "Oh gods, that's not a good sign.." she added in an undertone, then began trying to stem the bleeding of his wound.

Thyiri rushed to the railing of the ship and peered back at the port that was quickly growing smaller in the distance. A grin spread slowly over her face, but when she turned back to look at the others it wore her customary slightly bored expression. "Where'd you happen to be heading to?" she inquired casually, deftly bypassing the fact that Raven was correct in that it was not her ship.

Still applying pressure to Tynel's wound, Raven turned her head, expression one of impassiveness this time. "To an island." was all she said. Almost anyone could logically guess, however, what island she meant.
