"Hmm.." Tynel's voice trailed off once again as he redirected his eyes to his boot, and did not answer, but then he suddenly started speaking again.

"Well, I suppose the best we can do is be watchful and causious, and warn the queen." He once again stopped speaking and this time spaced out while looking at one of the wooden beams in the wall behind Raven.

Raven nodded mutely in agreement to this, then turned her sharp eyes towards the wooden floor.

Tynel stood in the scilence for a while, as unomfortable as it was. He looked over at Raven, who was staring at the floor. He couldn't stand the scilence for another minute.

"Well, I uh, I'll leave now, I need to check my arm anyway." His voice faded off into the distance, coupled with the sound of the hatch door opening and then closing again.

As soon as silence fell again, Raven sighed quietly and lay back in her hammock again. Sure that she was alone, she then pushed her hair back away from her face and ears, then touched her now-pointed ears with slight apprehension. She had been right, after all..

Tynel went onto the deck, fiddling with one of the ties on his shirt, which had started to become undone. He looked up and his eyes widened. He emedietly darted back below deck.

"Raven! Raven, we're here!" He ran over to her hammock with still-wide eyes.

"Hey, I don't plan the weather or anything, so don't look at me like that. Come on!" Tynel motioned for her to follow him and went upstairs to the deck.

"See?!" Ty gestured toward a spot of land on the horizon, and everyone else had begun to fuss over it as well, only a bit more quietly than Tynel himself.

"That is the capital, right?" He asked this more quietly.

Shading her eyes with her hand, Raven didn't have to squint to see the speck, like she normally would have, she could see it perfectly fine. "It's the island, all right..the capital isn't visible here, only it's white walls."

Tynel stared at the speck, he could clearly see the white walls Raven spoke of. As the wind blew past them, tynel noticed that Raven had pointed ears. Raven is an elf? Tynel must have been very unobservant not to have noticed that before. He stared at her absent mindedly, his brow creased.

"Hmm. Just wondering..." Tynel leant agaist the railing and towards Raven, to whisper in her ear.

"Then you chose the life of an elf, did you not?" He was smirking ever so slightly, amused at Raven's apparent secrecy about her choice.
