I just finished reading TTT for, like, the third time (or something!) today, so this is really fresh in my mind! Yeah, I've always been REALLY satisfied and happy with the ending of TTT. It's very... appropriate, I think. What with Tolkien's classic "there will be hope in the midst of seemingly perpetual darkness" theme!
The ending is good. You have to want to know if they win or not!
