Tia waved a hand dismissively. "I was gettin' to it," she replied, turning back to the others. "Hec-tor will be helpin' ye find Jack's precious Pearl, aye?"

"Three days," Beckett repeated curtly. He turned and nodded to Mercer, who picked up the small chest containing Jones' heart. Without another word, both men strode out of the office, leaving Jones there alone.

Maccus snarled and glared down at Jack. "Outta th' way, scum, unless ye care to share Mr. Turner's fate."

"Elizabeth!" Will said outloud. "Are you all right?" he said as he eyeballed Barbossa with a cautious look.

Elizabeth smiled fakely and said, "Of course I'm all right. A lady can take care of herself you know, Will. Besides, Hector and I were getting along quite well." She then twirled her finger around Barbossa's large ostrich feather in his hat....very flirtatiously.

Ragetti's eyes grew wide with surprise. "Cap....c-c-c-....Captain?" he said nervously.

Suddenly a voice sounded from behind Maccus' head.
"Would ya now Mr. Maccus?..."
Davey Jones pulled a slight mocking smile, but it slowly faded off his face as he took note of Jack Sparrow between Bootstrap and Maccus.
"Why, Jack Sparra'w...yer finally beginnin' to look like yer fittin' in with my crew.."
He laughed making some of the crowded crew members to chuckle along and whisper about Jack Sparrow's 'new' growths starting to appear.

"Yes, yes, Hec-tor is a very nice man," Tia said impatiently. "He be a great helper."

Maccus spun around at the sound of Jones' voice and immediately bowed in submission. "Beggin' pardon, Cap'n," he muttered. "I caught these two slacking an' sought t' remedy th' situation. Turner resisted, so I did what I had to." Bowing once more, he faded back into the crowd.
"Liar!" Bootstrap spat, struggling against the two crewmen who now held him. "I did no such th-" A sharp blow to his ribs cut the man off, and he settled instead for simply glaring at his former opponent.

Will's eyes filled with jealousy as he pulled Elizabeth away from Barbossa. "Get away from her you filthy scum!" he shouted at Barbossa.

Davey Jones' took a step towards Jack and Bootstrap.
The unnatural light blue eyes, scanned their faces. The slimey tentacle from Jones' hand slid up around Bootstrap's barnacled shoulders, "Well then Mr. Turna'r...if th'is is not true, then I'm goin' to believe ye are puttin' the blame on Sparra'w...aye?"
Jack's underlined kohl eyes shifted, and he ever so graciously saunted a step back. He raised his eyebrows and looked at Bill, awaiting star-face's response.

Bootstrap's eyes fell to the deck as he avoided Jones' harsh stare. "I was only followin' orders, Cap'n," he said quietly, moving instinctively between Jack and Jones. "Jus' showin' Sparrow around, as I was ordered to, Cap'n."

Davey Jones' nodded his swelled squid head as if he understood. "Well, ye see Maccus 'ere 'as told me otherwise, and I'm startin' to believe 'im more then ye Mr. Turna'r...ye two were slackin' 'round and we both know what that'a means..." A smile spread across his face and he started to chuckle in pleasure.
Jack continued stepping back, and he slipped behind old Bill once more. He licked his dry lips and cleared his throat silently.

"Aye so was I. Until Miss Dalma saved me at the last minute from enterin' hell. Which I'm sure Jack would prefer then being where he is now." Said Barbossa growling and then he turned to Will. "Don't impune my Honor again, boy. There is no curse to save ye now. And ye don't need to worry. Wouldn't dare do anythin' in front of Miss Dalma." He growled at Will. "Now, are we gettin' my ship back?" He added, looking around.

Davey Jones' snorted and blinked his eyes in an irritated mannor, "Takin' on the blame again are we Mister Turna'r? So be it'a!"
Captain Jones turned around and shouted out, "Maccus! Take Mister Sparra'w to the floggin' mast...Bootstrap Bill will follow..."
Jack Sparrow's eyes shot wide open and they glanced up at Bootstrap Bill, "Is said floggin' mast said torture device?" He spoke quickly as he saw the tormented crew members starting to surround him.
