^Sure, welcome!
I've just returned from the Revolve Tour. The basic definition of it is that it's a Christian tour for girls. It was loads of fun.
But anyway, there was a guy speaker there [along with Laura Wilcinson and another Olympic diver, and tons of other cool people] who's name was Chad. He was there basically to talk to us
about guys.
The one thing that stuck out to me most, was what he said about guys viewing girls as girls wanted to be viewed, "You're seen as either a target or a treasure."
And I just thought about that for minute...
He then used this anology:
Give a guy a flashy, red, sports car, telling him it's his for the day. He's going to go as fast as he can, run 30 people over, tear it up,
and [I swear he said this, though we were all in a funny mood

] blow it up, 'cause guys love fire and blowing things up.
Now let's say that the guy got the car...but had to pay $27,000 or however much for it. He's going to be all, "Don't touch my car, don't breathe on my car..." etc. etc.
Get it? Girls are like the car. His point was that when a girl is so easy to get, the guy isn't going to treat her like she's worth something, with care. But when she has to be sought after, persued, she's going to me so much more.
He also said that guys act all tuff to pretend they have it all together. Because what they're afraid of most is doing something stupid...especially in front of a bunch of other guys. And though you look like you have it all together, you're as clueless as girls.
Hehehe! *Loves possessing all this new knowledge about boys*
