"Good girl! Now sit still," he nodded toward the security officers.
They rushed Shannon and held her tightly in the seat.
The deputy smiled and pulled out three more shots. They all had different colored liquids in them. "You didn't think that taking medicine would be that easy...did you Shannon?"

Shannon's eyes widened and she felt tears fall down her cheeks. "MORT! HELP ME!" She screamed and tried to jerk away from the officers, as much as she could. She was scared out of her mind.

Jack heard that voice from beneath that cot, he remembered it, and said, "Oh no..."
The last thing he remembered was seeing that same kid come out of his closet back at his cabin, and nothing else. Wait, there was something else, but he couldn't remember....

One of the security officers covered Shannon's mouth with his hand.
"Try to calm down. Everything will be all right," he then giggled to himself. "What am I talking about? This is going to hurt like heck!"
He stood in front of Shannon with all four shots.

The small boy crawled toward Mort on his hands and knees. Eventually, he was lying on the floor next to him and examining his face. Staring at Mort with those dark brown eyes was very uncomfortable.

"Well, Mr. Rainey, aren't ya gunna say hello?" Shooter said with a tone.

Shannon screamed more, even though the security guard's hand was over her mouth. She started kicking and jerking around. She felt tears slide down her cheeks, angrily. She then bit the officer's hand and kicked the Deputy hard in the shin.

The security officer quickly pulled his hand away with a shriek. "Stupid girl!" he said as he punched her in the face.
"Owwwww!!!" David shouted as he was kicked in the shin. He grimaced and held his leg, but then anger took over and he pushed her off the chair and onto the concrete floor. "You'll pay for that!"

Shannon groaned in pain as she was punched and then thrown to the concrete floor. She quickly hoisted herself up, even without having the use of her hands and backed away from the men.
Good thing she had taken a bit of self-defense class a while back. She just hoped that she still knew how to do it.
She swallowed hard and watched them closely.

Mort's eyes slided up, and he looked up at the tall, lanky, black-suited, bow-legged figure of John Shooter.
He managed to life his upper body off the floor, and he started scooting back to the wall. "Get out of my head Mr. Shooter...get out of my head..."

The security officer who had his hand bitten by Shannon, was now sucking on it in pain. "I'll get you for that!" he said with frowned brows. Grabbing her by the hair, he yanked her back toward the floor causing her to fall on her knees.
The other security guard pushed her neck and face into the ground...which now made Shannon lie flat on her stomach. "Stay on the ground!" he shouted.
Deputy David straightened out his black tie and brushed back a strand of his brownish blonde hair. "Now, Shannon, you WILL take your medicine," he said as he dug his knee into her back and pulled one shot off the table.

"Oh, I don't think I can do that, Mr. Rainey. At least not yet," he wandered over to Mort and squatted down next to him. "You still have to meet someone." His dark brown eyes shifted over toward the small boy who was now standing with his hands limply at his sides.

Shannon groaned in discomfort, as she was taken down by the security officers. Obviously her self-defense class was of no help. She took deep breaths and snapped her eyes closed.
'This can't be happening, this can't be happening...' She though to herself. She was scared out of her mind now. She knew that there was no escape.

The deputy awkwardly twisted Shannon's head sideways and stuck the large shot into her neck. He then squeezed the purple fluid into her body slowly.
He pulled it out and then proceeded to grab another one off the table, but this one was smaller with blue liquid. "Now this medicine is a pain!" he said with a grin.

Shannon gasped in pain, as the large needle entered her neck. She swallowed hard and felt the tears reach her eyes. She bit her lower lip hard and groaned. She didn't want to feel anymore. She didn't need medication and she knew it. She was fine.

The crazy, blonde haired man was starting to look pale.

The deputy then stuck the second needle into Shannon's temple on the side of her head. The liquid inside this shot made the puncture sting like a thousand bees. "Only two more to go," he said happily.
The other two security guards struggled to keep her down.

Shooter shook his head at Mort, "Well....you were never introduced properly." He placed a hand on Mort's shoulder and said, "Go on now, introduce yerself, Mr. Rainey."

Shannon screamed in pain, when the Deputy had put the second needle in her temple. She didn't know what all of this liquid was for, but she knew that she wouldn't like it in the end. She hoped that they didn't do the same for Mort.

The third needle was injected close to the first one but it's liquid was clear. "We're almost done and you'll be feeling back to your old self again," he said sarcasticly.
Little did Shannon know that these drugs would make her extremely weak and dillusional. As time would go on, she would learn that patients here were not treated properly and some would be tortued and used for experiments.
