Kris slowly opened her eyes at the familiar voice...."Christian?" she asked. "I..is that you? Please be you...." Tears started to stream down her cheeks slowly. Suddenly she breathed in sharply & moaned in pain....it hurt to cry....God, it hurt to move! She didn't know what to do...she didn't know where she was, or what had happened....she didn't know anything....

Annalett's eyes were glued to the door in the ceiling. The voice had made her almost jump because she wasn't expecting it.
So it's a trap door... That must mean we're most likely underground. And theres a guard on the other side of that door... and who knows how big he is... and if theres only one... there goes a chance of escape, she thought...

Silas Moore looked up as Tom said "The kids are awake."
"Good." he said, "Let's let them wait down there awhile."

Dominic tried to grin at Emmaline. "Sorry, no ideas." He glanced up at the ceiling as a man's voice sounded down.

"Okay... sos theres only two guys up there... that we know of so far... once we get our strength back... I'm sure all us older ones could take them on and the smaller ones could escape." Annalett said, but with excitement said 'escape' a little too loudly...

Laura was still laying into Annaletts arms. She closed her eyes because of fear, she didn't want to see the room anymore. Laura bit her lips, trying not to cry again, trying to be brave like Annalett told her. She tried to get herself up a bit, but fell back into her sisters arms, she was too dizzy.

"Yes Kris. It's Christian," he said reassuringly. "Emmy! Kris is seriously injured." He looked down at her blood soaked clothing.

"What?" Emmy said bolting up. She hurried over to Kris and Christian.
She saw blood and knelt down next to Kris.

"Ok, where does it hurt?" Emmy said, looking into Kris's eyes, "Keep your eyes on me, don't move either." She Tore up some more fabric.

(Emmy was fascinated in medical reports, so she read everything there was about surgeons, nurses, and read everything she could.)

Kris groaned. "Everywhere," she said quietly. It hurt everywhere. She tried to keep her eyes on the girl she was talking to, (she had yet to figure out who it was,) but it was hard. Her head swam everytime she tried to focus, and she felt dizzy. "Who-?" she started to ask who it was in front of her, but it hurt to talk, so she stopped, & tried to focus.

Dominic crawled over till he was sitting beside Kris. He looked down at her nervously, biting his lip.

Annalett looked at everyone in the room. They were all her siblings. They were all in pain.
What was the last thing I remember? she thought, then it came to her. She was walking home from a lesson at the local stables, thinking about how much homework she had to do, and that all her siblings had probably finnished their homework for the day. She remembered a white... no blue car drive up to her and a man, a big man, walk up to her and told her to get in the car... she said no so he grabbed her arm so she kicked him in the shin, he yowled... then she remembered a big fist coming tward her head... and everything went black.

A tear rolled down her face, but she quickly wiped it away. She had to be strong, for the littler ones. Then a thought came to her what if we never get out of this? What if we don't make it? What if we.... her thoughts were broken by a sob from Leah.
No... we will get out of here... we will make it... I promise!

Laura looked up to Annalett, she could read it in her eyes what her sister was thinking. Laura finally managed to pull herself up, she stayed sitting beside her sister. She felt her back head hurting too, remembering somebody hitting her with a baseball bat or something before she woke up here. Dizziness overcame her, so she put her face in her hands, sitting in the corner huddled up like a ball, trembling.

Emmy quickly found the sorce. A blow to the head that caused the skin to break and a possible concussion, plus many brusies and a broken arm. (is that ok pip&leggyluvr?).
"Is there anthing stiff in here?" Emmy called out. Her voice echoing on the walls.
