To put more than one pic on a banner to blend them, you'll need new layers for each picture. Then you can erase part of each picture and blend them together.

^^hhhmm..thats a little bit confusing
whenever I click on a brush, and move it over my Image, the brush never appears over it..soo. Im not quite sure how to select a brush and all

When I make a brush, I open up a new image (of the brush), click Image -> Mode- > Greyscale, then select all, then click Script-Fu -> Selection -> To Brush. Then name it, and you're set.

Well, thanks, but I don't make my own. I download imagepacks from various sites (mainly livejournal) and install them that way.
