He glanced at Nessa and said slowly: "What about there..?" He pointed to a tilted wall of stone of which the top had disappeared in the clouds. It was surrounded by some high trees and it would be a perfect spot as shelter.

Mark continued to guzzle down the water as fast as he could. It just seemed he was not able to get enough. He felt so dehydrated. "You guys should drink some of this water. It's really good!" he said with wet lips.

Mark stood up and wiped his wet mouth on his arm. "Are you guys sure you don't want a drink? It was really good."
He walked back toward them and winced at a shooting pain in his wrist.

Alex shook his head noncommittedly. Abruptly he fell to his knees and plunged his head in the lake. The cold water wrapped around his head, a poignant reprieve from his migraine. He gulped down large sums of water and seemed quite intent upon drowning himself.

Nessa put a hand to her aching head. So much had happened, and her ankle was almost numb with pain. "Alex, didn't you hear what we just said to Mark?" she asked wearily, and then desisted. "Never mind, the idiot can't hear me anyway..."

Alex seriously considered dunking his head into the water again, but now that she mentioned it, he did feel a bit nauseous.
"Fine," he sighed, sitting back. "All right, Miss Smart One. Now what?"

Nessa glared. "We need shelter - if only for tonight. Which is, in fact," she added cuttingly, "what Chris and I seem to have to repeat several times for all of you to comprehend." Her ankle was sending increasingly painful jolts up her leg and she was becoming quite snappish. Being herself she was quite unwilling to admit to pain of any sort.

Mark laughed a little and jokingly said, "Well, we can't stay in that cave anymore, huh?" His small thumb pointed backwards in the direction the cave was. "Where are we going to sleep now?"

Jimmy slowly lifted his head and looked around the now empty cave. Apparently his so-called 'buddies' have dumped him.
"Uh..guys? Hello?" his voice echoed through the stone and he gulped a big clump of saliva.
