Layien sent, without meaning too, another singal to Aras in her sleep.
The Doctor has some new methods, Aras. Stay away from him! I fear my death will come quicker than we guessed, but get as far away as you can! He will send his wolves out again, I'm sure of it! Please be careful!
Then, she awoke, gasping and looking around worriedly.

As dusk fell in the clearing, Aras sat near the stream with his eyes closed. Suddenly he heard Layien's voice in his head. <i>I fear my death will come sooner quicker than we guessed, but get as far away as you can.</i>
Aras fingered his charm. <i>You don't know me that well, if you think I'll do that.</i> he responded in his mind. He didn't know if Layien had heard him or not.
