After about 20 minutes, Paris was completely dressed in his princely Trojan armor. His curls were now tamed and slightly damp from his bath.
He slowly walked across the bedroom and grabbed his sword that was attached to his belt. He placed it on his body and strapped it tightly.
Placing his hands on his hips, he breathed in deep and then exhaled slowly while shutting eyes. Anxiety was a terrible feeling.....and Paris hated it.

briseis completly awoke inthe corner and watched both men arguing loudly....why did it always have to be war? she truned, but her head began throbbing from where the soldier had struck her the night before....she groaned slightly

Helen watched Paris ready himself in full garb, seeing him dressed as a warrior broke her heart. She could not watch this fight but she had to, she had to make sure he would be okay. Menelaus was not a forgiving person, especially to the females in his life, though he treated them just as poorly.
She made her way over to Paris and wrapped her arms around him, resting her golden head on his shoulder.

Paris wanted to pull away from Helen, but her soft and gentle touch always made him melt.
Turning to face her, he held her tightly to his chest and shook. "Whatever happens Helen......know that I love you."
Quickly, he walked away from her and toward the doors that lead outside of their chambers.
