Khasian had some objections. He obtained blood from Khaurin and Irthun, not to mention food for his wolves and bats. Nor did he want anyone, especially Zelkar, dominating the mountains that he owned. "Under these terms, I will aid you," Khasian said. "I have influence among many of the dwarven leaders and can "convince" them to split up with the humans. But here are my terms. No one is allowed to touch the mountains in which I and my creatures inhabit. None of you would find the mountains interesting anyways. Any and all human villages are to remain undisturbed. If you wish, you can have the northern Khaurin. I have little use of it except a small area of the beach. Do we have terms?"

Nuanla in contrast had no onjections, she was a sort of nomad really....she would be content with a few cities... she showed this by nodding slightly at zelkhar

Zelkhar seemed pondering, but then nodded with a smile.

"Certainly, you can keep your mountains all I want is flat land and cities nothing more.... speaking of land I have already began few side operations at Shurkesh and Yithaja. Shurkesh is a wasteland, but I have taken over the trade there and waystations are under my control. Then at Yithaja I have began many, many trade problems not to mention tribe versus tribe problems.

A tribe war is sure to break out, after that we just collected the wounerable lands into our holdings. But if it`s more up to Denaris than me Khaisan shall we reach an agreement, he would be gaining the human part. Yet in order to achieve this all we need to have a conflict with the dwarves and humans, insults between kingdoms and few border conflicts. Then we can move in to prey upon the happless humans and Khaisan can collected the dwarves in his pocket so to speak. Now then reach a conclusion and we can get on with it..."

Zelkhar said with a smirk, but suddenly began to cough roughly yet held it and gazed at the other quietly, with a warning in his eyes. He smirked and acted as, if nothing would have happened.

Abbas said "I only need a few oasis cities, my men still remember their home." to the group, to see if they would give him this portion.

"Patience my friend, we shall deal with Nauskal in time... yet for now we shall procceed as planned, with each step we take the holy realm and it`s grand priests shall become more aware of our plots. Not to mention their kings, we must have a strong bulk of forces and a vast lands so that we can take the battle to them.

It is with them that we decide who will reign over this continent, not with Quattare or Yithare, they are greedy kingdoms that can be forced to their knees like any other. The mind and the world of men... ah so simple and fragile..."

Zelkhar said with a smile.

"Then I shall now retire to my citadel," Khasian said. "I have work to do and sides to turn." He flew off with his gargoyles. A crow informed that the Phantoms managed to hatch a pack of a new flying creature. Khasian relayed instructions that they shall be fed with the new food packaged prepared the occasion like this. He then returned to his citadel, where he barricaded himself to a room where he had two plates of meat: one plate was covered by a glass cover, the other open to the air. He discovered that the one covered by the glass did not appear to be covered with maggots while the other did. Well that was something his master knew apparently. He then took two more pieces of meat on a plate and covered them with glass. But this time he placed inside one of the plate a couple of flies that he had captured. The other he left just as it is.
(Is it okay if I have Khasian discover the germ theory of disease?)

(I guess)

"We are going to go back to our homes and the next time we meet it will be in Irthun, as Khaisan can handle the dwarves in some manner we can only now plant the seeds of war between the two. So do appear there and I promise that it`s a show that you will enjoy...."

He said with a laugh beefore disappearing again.

----------

Zelkhar was standing on a small hill, looking at the citadel of Irthun and the mass that travelled trough the gates. He was sitting upon his horse expecting for the others to come, Zelkhar still wondered how they had not doubted him really or about his means, after all he set it all in motion.

Abbas rallied his now much larger army, with many infantry, and force marched them to the meeting place.
He was beginning to wonder about Zelkhar's motives.

(Ok)
Khasian began writing down notes feverishly about what he had discovered. He had found out that disease did not occur spotaneous nor it was the will of any gods but caused by a gathering of extremely small creatures. If he could....the possiblities were endless. He ordered his Phantoms to prepare to grow a disease inside a Dwarven village that was close to the border between them and the humans. Once the village got infected, Khasian could proclaim that it was the Dwarven gods' sign of anger over their alliance with the humans.

Not far from the citadel of Irthun, a small mining party of three dwarves and six humans were busily at work in the caves.

Serril detested caves. All elves detested caves. Which was precisely why he'd been handed this undignified task. He was a powerful mage in his own right, but here he was, stuck underground while his arrogant, irritating lord was off to another meeting with the overrated organization called the Covenant.

Remaining invisible in the shadows, the cloaked elf began casting a spell. A small rock levitated up in the air behind a dwarf's back. Serril waved his hand, and the rock bonked the unfortunate dwarf solidly in the head.

Luckily for him, dwarves had thick skulls.

Fuming, the victimized dwarf whirled around. His accusing eyes immediately settled on one of the humans. "Hey! You son of a cave worm!" He picked up the rock and threw it at the human.

Unluckily for him, humans had thinner skulls.

The man dropped his pickaxe and collapsed, blood trickling from his head.

Serril watched the ensuing battle with grim amusement. The humans rushed at the dwarves first, shouting to avenge their wounded comrade. The dwarves retaliated fiercely, equally indignant. Soon, sorely outnumbered, the dwarves were forced to retreat farther into the cave, into the tunnels.

They would no doubt run back to their underground cities and report this to their furious superiors.

-----------

All went as planned...

Denaris, hearing Serril's voice in his mind, nodded complacently. Very good. Did you like the caves?

Shut up.

He grinned and wove his hands in a teleport that would take him to Zelkhar's side.

Khasian silently dropped down from the sky to a dwarven village accompanied by five phantoms. He looked around him before moving on. It was very fortunate that he and the phantoms were immune to diseases since this was the only way he could think of spreading it subtlely. He nodded to one of the Phantoms, who released a cage filled with flies that were carriers for the extremely small creatures that in turn were carriers for the disease. The flies spread towards the house that will bite the sleeping Dwarves, infecting them with the disease. Khasian watched them for a moment and then flew off with his phantoms.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next day brought horrific news to the dwarves. A village had fallen to the grips of a disease that caused blood to flow from their nose, ears, and even their eyes. Though the disease had not infected other villages, every dwarf in the village was killed. Rumors of the gods' punishment was flying through the air. Khasian personally told the dwarven leaders that this was the gods' punishment for their alliance to the humans. The dwarven leaders believed it almost immediately. They had already sent a messenger, informing them they had split with them.

"Our friend Khaisan has kicked his little party into a swing and will raise quite a hell should be put it all into full power, he has succeeded in scaring the dwarves as I trust you have done the same with humans eh?"

He asked as he gazed at the newly arrived Denaris.

Denaris materialized just in time to hear Zelkhar speak.

"No congratulations for me?" he asked, sorely offended. "I send my associates all along borders, inciting riots, and no one pats poor Denaris on the back?"

Khasian ascended to the highest pinnacle of his tower as he watched the chaos of the two allies breaking apart. But he wasn't there only to watch the chaos, he was there to think and plan the next series of events. Truth be told, he didn't get anything from this deal, aside the discoveries and creations he made. He began to prepare for the inevitable schism. He doubted anyone of them knew what was dwelled in his caves, filled the oceans and lakes, or flew in the cold mountain skies.
