Tynel watched Raven walk off. She must be anxious. Ty thought. He considered asking her what was wrong, but then decided it was better to give her some time, and if she was still like this when they got to the capital, then he would confront her. In the meantime, he watched as the capiital grew ever closer. They were now near enough to it that Tynel could hear the buzz of exitment in the city, smell all kinds of different things, including a particular amount of sea food. He thought about what it would look like beyond the white walls, but then came back to reality when he spotted the docks.

Contenting herself to wander about the deck until the ship actually docked, Raven strained her ears for the distant, familiar sounds of the city, and relaxed fractionally as she began to hear it all. The familiar smells caused her to relax even more, and she began to remember key memories of her time spent here.

(May not make sense, but it's all I can think of..)

After fifteen or so minutes, the hull of the ship finally bumped into the dock, and the ropes were fastened. Dalen's feet thumped to the deck as he skipped the ladder and jumped from the wheel to the main level. Running belowdeck, he gathered up his weapons, putting his armor on, as he usually did when on land, and then ran buck abovedeck. He supposed he would be saying goodbye to his fellow voyagers soon, and heading out to sea again within a week or so, unless something came up.

*hint - think of something to come up....we need a plot idea right about here

Tynel sighed heavily when they hit the dock. He slowly walked down and retrieved his things and put then strapped the few things that he did have to his back. He then walked off the boat and stopped right as he was about to enter the city. He had no idea where he was going. Neither did he know what he was going to do, or how to go about finding about his parents. Heck, finding out about himself. He rolled his eyes and sighed once again. He would ask Raven or Dalen, but he didn't want to seem stupid. Of course, wandering around the exiles' land would make him look stupid anyway. He stood in the middle of the path leading from the dock, thinking.

Gathering up her various weapons and few belongings once the ship had finally docked, Raven cast one final, long glance about the ship's deck, then, without pause, turned and disembarked from said ship. Looking towards the cityscape, she paused on the dock, trying vainly to remember where she had intended to go now.

Thyiri eagerly descended the gangplank, carrying nothing - she owned nothing. She looked at the city, awestruck - she was finally here!

Tynel was snapped out of his thinking spree as the others walked off the boat.

"Uh...Raven?" Tynel paused trying to find words that sounded remotly smart. Nothing. "Where is everything..In the city?"

"You've just asked me a nearly impossible question.." Raven said, not diverting her gaze from the white walls of the city. "It's been too long, and I don't know my way around any longer."

"Alright, then we shall just go wandering around for a bit." Tynel gave a teasing smile and then started to walk off suddenly, rather like the time when Raven and he had first met, at Rylin's camp.

Remembering that occasion all too well, Raven smiled inwardly, then shook her head and followed after Tynel, looking around almost constantly as she did so.

Dalen snorted as he saw the others heading off aimlessly. "Come on," he said, stalking past them. "I'll find you some lodgings. There are quite a few good inns here, and those will serve until you can figure out what you're going to do." He managed to conceal his grin at the slightly-wide eyes of his companions as they stared around them at the city.

Tynel grew wide-eyed at the sight of how big the city actually was. He nodded to Dalen without turning to him. "That would be most appreciatied." Ty then followed Dalen around the city, after Raven and Thyiri, he wandered the streets of what was supposed to be his home. And just as he feared, he got strange looks from everyone who passed him by. He was still wearing his ursuper clothes. He rolled his eyes and promised himself new clothes. His attention was then moved to Dalen, when he told them they were about to reach the lodgings he was telling them about. Finally! Ty thought to himself, Real beds!

Dalen looked up at the inn as they approached, and a feeling washed over him, like coming home. Walking inside, he grinned at the innkeeper's shock at seeing him. "Hello, father," he said, laughing as he heard his sisters' shrieks of delight from the kitchen when they heard his voice. After he had given his sisters their due hugs and greeted his mother, he raised a hand. "These are my late travelling companions," he said, gesturing towards Tynel and Raven (is Thyiri with them?). "I was hoping you might have some lodging for them until they get a little more settled around here."
When his father nodded in the affirmative, Dalen's face split into a wide grin. "Thanks, Dad."
