Harry Potter - Why did they bother to make these films if they were not going to cast the children properly, stay true to the story and ditch fun scenes what would have given the films essences from the books? Oh, yes, I know the answer....£££££$$$$$$$$$

The Vikings - Over-rated rubbish. Wooden ships that match the wooden swords that match the wooden sets that match the wooden actors

The New World - With Colin Ferrel, it isn't a historical movie anymore. Not even if you put in David Thewlis or Christian Bale. For a historical movie, you got to have Russel Crowe. He rocks in those.

I agree with you on this one! I was really looking forward to this movie before it came out, but when it did I was very disappointed :( There was like NO dialouge the whole movie! Very weird... :confused2:

A lot of you hated Madagascar, but I personally loved it! What made it great was the penguins :D I have one named Larry...LOL  and a lot of you didn't like War of the Worlds, but I liked that one too...kept me pretty scared though! :P

I also really don't like the Harry Potter movies - so terrible compared to the books, especially the first 3 - but I thought the 4th was pretty good

I've never seen Napolean Dynamite, so I don't know if I hate it :P

I loved Finding Nemo the first time I saw it - I cracked up with all of Dory's lines - but after that it just keeps getting more annoying, though I don't hate it...yet :P

I tend to watch a lot of old films and although I enjoy the majority of them, there are ones that are just b-a-d. I don't like Kirk Douglas anyway, which doesn't really help, but the acting in this film is terrible. *hands Phoenix a wig*

I don't mind the actors. It was the half...baked acting that bothered me. The horrible accents, when they even bothered to try. Everything about this movie bothers me.

And what was it about the scene where Douglas was running along the oars? I mean where we supposed to go "ooooo, clever" it was dumb. And not forgetting Curtis' missing hand that was quite obviously there! But yeah, the acting was terrible and Janet Leigh was pathetic as the damsel in distress.

I agree! Also a wate of money because I went to see it in the theatres.

I also have to add Pulp Fiction... That's the worst movie I've ever seen!

That is so so accurate. I think I could talk about how awful it is all day, but I'd get so annoyed lol

Yeah me too. The annoying thing is, it always seems to be on where I am. It was on TV only a couple of weeks ago, and it was given 5 stars and hailed a classic! The reviewer must have been on something. :annoyed:

'the birds' is pretty bad. hitchcock's my favourite director, but he let me down on this one - the effects are poor but excusable given the time it was made, but there's no excuse for the terrible acting, the dodgy editing, the painfully slow beginning and the complete failure to recreate the claustrophobia of daphne du maurier's short story.

i also hate harry potter and all chick flicks. entirely pointless trash.

Yes, it probably was. Only a friend you had offended would tell you to watch that film. :annoyed:

And Eowyn I agree with you about the Birds. I was bitterly disappointed with it, after all the great Hitchcock films I had seen. I also dislike North by Northwest, another disappointment. I think he lost some of the elements of his earlier movies, with his 1950-1960's films.
