Okay, first of all *drumroll please for the stupid question* What's an "emo" I have no idea what you people are talking about.....
If you like someone, my advice would be to NOT LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU LIKE THEM. I'm serious. Some guys are goofy about that, and if they can tell you like them, they get as far away from you as possible. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true.

i can explain in the words of my sorta friend Maggie, who was emo.
"We're freaks who dress different and worship Harry Potter!"
of course, Maggie wasn't quite right... she drank listerine and got drunk, then fainted, then she ran straight into a wall and passed out. then drank more listerine and did it all over again.
she did all of this at a christian camp too...

EMO, your stereotypical emo person, is the one that dresses dark (if he's a guy he has cool hair that swishes over his face) they listen to rock or hardcore punk, and when also the stereotypical emo person is always depressed, has mental and EMOtional battles with and cut themselves....poor emo kids.
But it just so happens to be in these days....I shall now look for the Wikipedia entry for emO

Perfect: "Emo is a slang term used to describe a range of fashion styles and attitudes somewhat affiliated with emo music and its related scene. As an adjective, emo can describe a style of fashion or music; or a general state of unhappiness or melancholy (as in "to feel emo"), as those stereotyped of emo are often unhappy, think they are misunderstood, and may have mild paranoia. Emo is also used as a noun, often pejoratively, to identify a member of the "emo scene" or someone viewed as fitting the "emo" stereotype." -wikipedia

Yes, I have no idea how to get guys' attention (except chucking something at them), let alone emo guys, but all guys love music, whether it be rock or rap or whatever. So yeah, music can be a good starting point.
