That's what we left off on, yeah. We were all in agreement that we wanted to read more about Arwen in the books but never really got the chance because she wasn't in there much. But I don't know what happened to the conversation after that.  _________________ Made by Meganelf

does Arwen, Elrond and the elves of Rivendell speak Quenya or Sindarin? or both? heh I've never found out.

I think in the movies they speak Sindarin. Eä told me in the language section, as I had the same question.

I'm pretty sure they know how to speak Quenya but I'm fairly sure they speak Sindarian in Rivendell.

I know that nearly all of the Elvish in the movies is Sindarin, besides a bit of Quenya lyrics in songs from places such as Lothlorien. For the most part, all Elves of that time spoke Sindarin for everyday, but knew Quenya and used it for ceremonial reasons.
