Will paced the creaking floor with his eyes downcast. "Jack....how do you know that this woman aboard our ship is not a spy? She metioned a man named Benjamin Grey. Do you know this man? Is he your enemy? Would this place Elizabeth in danger?" Too many questions were escaping Turner's mouth.

"Thank god," Victoria gasped, once the corset had been flung to the floor. "I can't stand them, but mother and father make me wear them. They insist they make me look 'ladylike', but I think it's just their way of torturing me." Victoria looked up to meet Elizabeth's gaze. "I really miss them."

Elizabeth gave a fleeting smile and tucked the scattered clothes back into the trunk. "Not to worry, you'll have them back. As soon as that...well...as soon as Jack finishes whatever he's doing," she finished with an eloquent roll of her eyes.

Victoria let out a small chuckle as the door began to close behind the two girls. She followed Elizabeth out of the room, now comfortable with the new outfit and breathed in the night air. "So, Elizabeth, you have not told me much about you...do you have any brothers or sisters?"

Elizebeth rested her elbows on the ship's railing. "No," she replied, with a glance at Victoria. "My father's the governer of Port Royal. My mother's dead. Needless to say, the house is - was - rather quiet."
((Is this before or after the movies?))

Elizabeth looked round with a smile. "Not in the least. It's been a while, I believe she died a week or so after I was born, I don't remember her at all."
She looked back out over the water and said impatiently, "What are they doing down there?"
