"Yes. Thats the pattern her tennishoes make." She made a footprind on her own with her boot right next to Elly's. It was obviously smaller.
"Elly has a shoe size bigger than mine."

Kafta stood up and growled "Ahh yes but you're mistress has no liveing servents dose she now...only deamons, and the dead, and the half dead that she has created." She glared at Elly. "I have no doubt that this Raven can get you out, he is not all he seems...but i warn you that though she may give you life...she will also give you death. At least i live in my bondage!"

Brownfeather, out of everyones supprise, flew up to land next to the raven on the windowsill.
"Ooo... little girl is in trouble. You either stay with Saw and live, yet live in pain... or you go with the vampiress and become the living dead and serve her. But there is one other option that no one but me can see!"
The owl flew down and dropped an amulet next to Elly, then flew back up to perch next to the raven. The amulet was a big green emrald, about the size of a horse's eye, and was surrounded by gold that had strange inscriptions on it. If you looked carfully, you could see two sparks that looked to be floating around in the emrald...

Kafta stepped back in fear from the amulate...the owl was right, she did live in paina and fear, but she had chosen it, she had turned down that amulate before.

Elly looked down at the amulet, intrigued, and picked it up. It was slightly warm to the touch and fit snugly into her hand. She looked up at Brownfeather. "What's it for?"

Leama, following the scent of Kafta and her own instincts, turned into a crow and flew towards SAW's castle. She flew into the space where Kafta and Elly was, transformed back into an elf, took out her daggers, and said, "You, wolf, will unhand her now." She then turned to the raven and said, "I suggest you to keep out of this before you get harmed dearly."

Brownfeather hooted and flew to perch next to Elly.
"That is the amulet of Fainutanya. It has powers that are great, but only the ones who need it to become free can use it..." he said, and looked up at the shapeshifter...

Elly jumped at least a couple of feet back, shocked at the sudden appearance of the elf. "Have we met?" she inquired uncertainly, still clutching the amulet, with an uneasy glance at Kafta.

Kafta covered her eyes with her paws....this was becomeing much much tooo complicated. It might be almost worthwhile to just let the kid go....but then again she couldn't do that, the wards on the castle were to strong. The only magic strong enogh was that of the amulet or the Raven...the elf would fail. She looked at it "YOU can't get her out, even f i let you, which i'm not going to now you're come in." She lept upon the elf's thought

SAW looked at his crystal ball to see what and how his fellow wolf doing. A vision on the ball became clearer as he looked into the ball. SAW saw Kafta coming with the elf and her companions. And suddenly appeared on the door of the castle. SAW patted the fur of Kafta's. "Good job, my fellow wolf" he said. "You deserved a feast for tonight"

Meanwhile, Kendra, Karara, Bronzeclaw, and others, ran through the forest, following Elly's, and Kafta's prints. Finally they came to the edge of the forest, and the beggining of a grassy plain, with a stone fortress in the distance.
"Placenoor fields," stated Bronzeclaw, "And the foretress of SAW."
"Who is SAW?" Kendra asked, breathing hard from the running.
"SAW is an evil man, an out-cast from the other humans. He wears a strange mask, though I don't know why..."

At the mention of SAW, Karara growled. She never liked him... always so dark and myterious... Not very trustworthy. She turned around to face the others,
