Does this include indie rock? If so, I'm joining! I really love Snow Patrol, Death Cab for Cutie, The Stills, Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks....like most of my iPod is filled with indie rock.

Well, it was in an arena, so it was an odd setup from what ur thinking. I had a seat that was relatively close, on the right side. The seats weren't truly assigned tho, and you could go down on the floor into the moshpit...but if I had gone down I wouldn't have been able to see at all, so I stayed in my seat. I could see perfectly well tho.
All of a sudden, I'm watching the stage and my friend grabs my arm and starts spazzing out: 'Wanna go down?' she asks frantically. I look at her and she points to the center. Tyson and Nick have moved to the oppostie side of the arena floor and are up on a small platform. She asks again, so I say yes and we walk down. Since no one was expecting it and we moved fast, we got about ten feet away. it was just during the song straightjacket feeling.
Also, welcome Caunion! Thanks for such a large contribution of bands! I've posted all of their sites in the top thing.

Yes, *is dea.d* I haven't heard of half of these bands...I'll have to look them up!
You'll have to tell us all about the concert after you go!
Out of curiosity guys, what's the difference between Indie and Alternative? I've never really understood that. I just want my facts straight

I've always thought of Indie as more of a lifestyle rather than a genre of music, I think it includes alternative music and the mentality that associates along with it....According to the Merriam Webster dictionary it says that Indie, is "One who is independant"....and Alternative is described as "Something that is different" So, they have really similiar descriptions. So I suppose, they can be described as out of the ordinary music, no Justin Timberlake or whatever his name is.....

*laughs and curses Justin* I looked it up as well. Says that indie is more people who have an independent record label, or not a huge one. Alternative, while it can fall under this is more of a 90s punk rock thing or something that was new and different.... the music all has a similar sound, from what I've heard tho and lately its all I've been listening to!
I do agree about the whole lifestyle thing. You don't hear much about an 'alternative' lifestyle, because it means something different in that context. 'Indie' sounds cool too! MWahaha!
