AJ saw Layien run in, and went over to her.
"An elf is neve late! Nor is she early, she arrives percicly when she means to." she qoted then said, "The party has only just started anyway! Looks like we got the same idea on the costume!"
AJ twirled showing off her elven costume...

The black lonsleeve blouse is my moms, I got the cloak from Wal-Mart. And the sword is one of my Lord of the Rings collectable swords." AJ said matter-of-factly and grinned...

AJ nodded, and went to say 'hi' to a few other friends to pass the time. When the clock said five minutes left, something felt in AJ told her that something bad was going to happen, like one of those gut feelings. AJ shook it away, and started gulphing down her pile of food...

Layien also raided the snackbar, getting all the goodies that she normally did not get with her sports diet, but she loved tasting chocolate again. She walked over beside AJ as 3 minutes came up. "3 minutes till midnight!" She stated, smiling.
