Sorac nodded and sped for the two dragons, deciding that the dark dragon was most likely Methia, he charged for it with a load roar, grabbing its right wing in his mouth, then letting it go quickly. He then roared again, but this time an icy white flame shot out of his mouth. Yira, by now, had gotten a hold of her bow and arrows, and was firing at the rider of the black dragon.

Jemx felt something bite into his wing and released Rano to attack it, and recived an icy face of flame. he shook himself and screamed in pain, blinded. Evlyn felt the flam brush her leg and looked over in surprise, and then was almost dilodged by her blind dragon. As she struggled to right herself she felt an arrow bite into her shoulder. she broke the shaft off impatiently, gasping slightly at the pain. She tried to draw her own bow to retaliate, but found her left arm paralysed. "Earth Jemx...down!" she yelled knowing that there was no other optian hurt as they both were.

Yet as Evlyn had turned in surprise, her sword had stabbed cruelly into Semri's chest. She gasped, the pain turning her vision a mass of spots, they cleared but she knew that she could not fight anymore today. "Thankyou" she gasped to Sorac. She smiled at the look of concern on his face. "Rano will look after me, but you must pursue that Melitha. She is one of the leaders. Please.." she gasped as another wave of pain hit her. Rano mewed softly in sypathy, and began a genle desent to the Cave.

Back on the ground Evlyn rolled off Jemx and pulled herself into a sitting position. jemx meanwhile crashed around trying to clear him eyes.

Sorac and his rider stared in shock at the female rider as she and her dragon floated to the ground.

"Is she going to be alright?..." Sorac looked over his shoulder.

"She will be, I'm sure that her partner is just as caring as mine is." Yira smiled fondly at Sorac, and then turned serious, casting one last look at the woman rider.

"But she is right. We have to follow that other one... She means trouble." Yira scanned the ground for the Melitha, "I am sure of it."

Rano genly slid his mistress onto the ground. And procedded to nurse her wounds.

A few miles away jemx crashed back towards Evlyn. "Help me" he hissed. she looked around, a harsh laugh issuing from her bloody lips. "How, i'm paralysed in one arm."

Merrin was instantly reminded of the document she'd been trying to recover from Kendath and waited anxiously to see if he handed it over - if he did she's never get it. She tugged futilely on the rope binding her wrists - this rider was doing a very good job.

Sorac and Yira followed the scent of charred flesh down to a small cove of trees and rock, and quietly landed. Yira took off Sorac's saddle and bridle, and then Sorac followed the Melitha's trail until he could hear voices. He then ran into their 'camp' and greeted them with an icy flame once again. The flame was no more powerful in the long run as any other dragon's flame, but it inflicted much more lingering pain that any dragon could aply. He then went for the other dragon once more, attacking the opposite wing than before. He then retreated back into the forest, knocking into the rider on his way out.

"*&$£%*@~#" yelled Evlyn as something knoked her over in the darkness. Jemx was mewing softly. His wing hanging unatrally from him. Evlyn grabbed a stick and pulled her self up. Walked a little way til she heard a stream, they returned and threw the water in Jemx's eyes. As his sight began to clear she hit him roundly "$#~&%£@ WELL GET UP" she snarled, then digarding the stick she sat in the crook of his tail. She couldn't get onto his back. She drew throwing daggers and laid them out before her. And waited for something to happen.

Kendath none too gently hoisted his captive onto Demon's back. A hostage could never hurt. He saluted Grayson, then mounted his dragon.

Merrin glared at Kendath, and cast a worried glance at Wyvern, who looked ready to kill. With an extreme effort, she thought fiercely at him - Go warn the others! You can't save me...especially not with two Meiltha dragons against you.

Wyvern cocked his head curiously, not speaking, but seemed to understand.
