"That's crummy," Mia said, looking extremely disappointed. She didn't want to let Sydney know how much it bugged her, so she said, "Well, we'll figure it out sooner or later. We always do."

"I wish it was sooner rather than later." Sydney said, but for other reason's than Mia knew. Half of her wanted to prove it was Kali, and the other half that it wasn't.

Sloane looked around the debriefing room, once all the agents had gathered. Agent Renie was however, yet again not there.
"Does anyone know what is wrong with agent Renie?" Sloane asked, just as his phone rang. He picked up the phone and hung it up after a minute.
"Well, it seems that agent Renie has not been feeling well. So she won't be able to make it today again." Sloane said.
"Today, our mission is very vital. Recently, Jack has been working with our defector from the Mercenaries organization. With his help, we have been able to pinpoint the location of a Mercenary warehouse. Which is where we believe they are keeping all the Rambaldi artifacts that they've obtained." Sloane paused.
"Normally, we would go in with a tactical team, but the building is surrounded by many guards. It's guarded very well. So, Mia, you're going in. Marshall found that there's a steam vent farther off from where the warehouse is. You're going to use a cable to lower yourself into the vent. Marshall says he was able to hack into the warehouse's security system. So once you're in, Marshall will be able to unseal the grate and you'll be directly in the room where they keep the artifacts. Marshall will loop security feed. Guards circulate the room every five minutes. Obtain as many artifacts as you can in those five mintues, but you have to get out of the room before the guards get inside because if Mercenary security doesn't see the guard in the room, they'll alert the rest of the building," Sloane said.

Suddenly, it hit Sydney. If Kali was the mole, she wouldn't be absent again today. Then, once she heard this information she would pass it on to the Mercenaries, and then APO wouldn't be able to get the artifacts. But Kali, wasn't here, which meant, she most likely wasn't the mole! Sydney couldn't decide if she believed Kali was the mole, or if she wasn't. But now it seemed as if Kali actually wasn't the mole..

Outside the Mercenary Warehouse
Mia was in the middle of nowhere. No one was around to see her go into the steam vent, and she was relieved. She took off her jacket and geans so that she wore a grey suit to protect her from the heat. She strapped the cable around the edge of the vent, lifted off the huge cover and climbed inside, pulling on the cable to make sure it was sturdy. Lowering herself into the vent, she began to get hotter as she went down. When she got where she needed to be, she turned on her comm. and said, "Marshall, I'm at the grate."
Marshall's voice came through, saying, "Alright, I'm opening it...now."
Mia climbed through and jumped down onto the floor. She looked around the room. "I'm in. Any security cameras?" she asked.
"Yes," Marshall said. "There's one to your left and one right above you."
"Wait! Don't move."
Mia froze and waited for awhile. "Marshall?!" she whispered into her comm.
"Okay. I looped the feed. They won't see you." She exhaled deeply and said, "Don't do that again."
She walked over towards a table with the artifacts on it. They were underneith glass cases and she had to use a gadget Marshall gave her to break the hinges to open them. She had collected only one atrifact when she saw on the middle of the table in a bigger glass case, the Rambaldi key. She broke the hinges on that case and packed the key and the other artifact into a bag she held. She looked around the table and there were two empty glass cases.
"Marshall. Two artifacts are missing!" she said.
"No, no, no. That can't be right," she heard him say.
"What can't be right?"
"Two artifacts were moved to maintenance this morning," he said quickly. Mia could hear him moving around the room.
"Where's the maintenance room? I'll go get them."
"No. You can't. You don't have enough time. A guard is on his way over to your room. You need to get out of there."
"Marshall, I'm not leaving without those artifacts."
"You don't have time. Just get out of there!" Mia lifted the bag over her shoulder and climbed up to the vent. She had gotten out just in time. The alarm went off just seconds after she got out of the vent.

Kali was sitting at her house, she didn't know why she had called in sick. Her shoulder wasn't hurting that bad, but the dream..she didn't know why it had affected her so. She sighed as she flipped open her cell phone and put it up to her ear after it began ringing.

Once she was realsed from the hospital, Sydney walked around APO, finishing reports and looking through various case folders, trying to keep herself busy and her mind off of her suspicions. She almost ran into Vaughn at one point.
"Oh, sorry,"
"Are feeling alright?"
"I'm fine... just preoccupied.." she said.

(Ah, sorry. I was at a friend's house. And haha, you spelled 'released' wrong )

"Where are you?" The other voice asked. The British accent immediately told her who it was.
"At my house..why? What's wrong?" She asked.
"APO seems to have gotten wind of where we were keeping the Rambaldi artifacts. What seems strange to me though, is that you didn't call me and tell me this." Kali sighed as she lowered the phone from her ear and put her other hand to her head. She lifted the phone back up to her ear a moment later.
"I didn't go to work today." She said, finally.
"And may I ask, why not?"
"I wasn't feeling that great." She had no idea what to tell him.
"Well thanks to your 'abrupt illness' we've just lost one of the Rambaldi parts, and the key." He told her calmly, but sarcastically before he hung up. Kali uttered a sound of annoyance before she stood up, grabbed her coat and left.

APO
Kali walked in and noticed Sydney doing some paperwork. She walked over to her.
"What did I miss today?" She paused.
"I wasn't feeling too good yesterday or this morning." She said. Sydney looked up at her. Kali wasn't looking too well; one wouldn't be able to notice unless they were up close to her. Some of the color had gone from her cheeks; she did indeed look paler. She could possibly be sick. Sydney thought. Or perhaps..she's stressed out? But why? Sydney pondered.

"Nothing really," Sydney said "Just a few missions and a raid. Sloane will probably fill you in at the debrief."

Kali nodded. She walked off into a private office and dialed a number once she was in the office.
"I'll find a way to reacquire the artifacts. Since, we've already stolen two that were in DSR's custody, they've most likely put the artifacts at an unknown location. Not even the APO agents know where that is. Nor does the liaison to DSR that's here. But I'll get the information we need." She said.
"You know that's an extreme risk." Sark said.
"Oh, so now you're worried about me, and not your precious little artifacts? How touching." She said
"Darling, you know it's not like that."
"Yeah. You'll hear from me soon." She said, sarcastically before she hung up.

Sydney sat down at her desk waiting for the debriefing to start. She kept looking over at Kali, trying to judge wether she was really sick or not. She felt like she could see herself on both ends of a tenis court. Pelting the ball at each other, yelling as she did. She shook her head and put her hand to it, breathing deeply, trying to clear her head.

(Haha. I wonder where everyone has been lately..*looks around at the empty RPG* And there's a debriefing?! The debriefing was Mia's mission..oh well..*makes an after-mission debriefing*)

After Mia returned to APO Kali noticed her handing over the artifacts Sark told her had been stolen. She realized that the DSR hadn't gotten their hands on the artifacts yet..

Kali looked up as Sloane called in debriefing. All he really did was explain to Kali about what she already knew. Then he told the entire team that Mia was successful in getting the artifacts, she however wasn't able to obtain the last two. Everyone in the debriefing room, and everyone else not in the debriefing room for that matter, turned their heads to APO's door, and as Marshall calls them, the ‘jerks’ came in and took away the artifacts. When Sloane dismissed the debriefing, Kali rushed out and stopped the DSR agents.
"Excuse me." She said.
"Yes?" A snotty man responded to her.
"Where are you taking the artifacts?" She asked.
"That's not for you to know. We're taking them somewhere safe."
"Safe?! Truly, you must be joking. Because if you think the artifacts, that if I might add have been stolen twice from your facilities are safe you must be more of an imbecile than I thought." She sneered at him. The DSR agents gaped at her, and began to imply that it wasn't in her best interest to talk to someone of their 'position' like that.
"Aw. I'm sorry, I didn't hurt your feelings did I?" She whipped her head around to the man she had called an imbecile as she said this. The DSR agents decided to ignore her, like she knew they would, and they stalked off out of APO with the artifacts. She smirked as her eyes watched them stalk off. If they thought the artifacts were safe anywhere with her around, they were wrong.

Sydney watched the DSR agents walk away with the artifacts. Like you'll be able to keep them this time, she thought angrily. She had to smile when the next time they might see the agents is when APO obtains another object, from the Mercanaries or from a mission. SHe wanted to see their faces when APO had to retrieve another artifact DSR had lost.

Kali sat down at her desk and finished the last bit of paperwork she had to do before she left the office. She walked out of APO, and wasn't paying much attention to the train. Her head shot up when she heard the train pulling out of the station. She didn't feel like waiting another hour for the next train. She took off sprinting towards the passenger car of the train. She grabbed the railing on the side of it and threw herself onto the platform. The door was shut, but a little shove on it and each side burst open. She walked onto the train, with every passenger looking at her.

Meanwhile, Sydney had walked out of APO just after Kali and she smiled at another one of Kali's crazy stunts.

Kali stayed where she was standing for the rest of the ride before the train stopped. She got off the train and drove back to her house. She pulled out her keys and pushed the right one in the lock and turned it. She turned it a few more times before she took out the key and looked at it. Why isn't it working? She thought as she tried a few of her other keys. She finally rolled her eyes and kicked open her door. Once she had entered she looked back at her door, which she had just kicked open.
"You know..I don't think I should have done that.." She said to herself, trying to shut the door. She would have to get new locks, and possibly a new door now. She sighed and thought "Oh well," as she tossed her things carelessly on the counter. She was almost to the top of her stairs when she heard an oh so familiar voice.
"I would knock..but it seems you've obliterated your own door."
Kali walked back down the stairs and she saw Sark standing in the frame of her doorway.
"I was having a disagreement with it." She said, looking at the door.
"Apparently.."
"Julian, why are you here?" She asked. He handed her a file. She opened it and saw a man inside.
"We need you to filter back any information APO might have about this man. We believe your next mission might possibly be about him, too." She dropped the file on her couch as she looked back up at Sark.
"So, you're telling me you came all this way just to tell me to do my job?" She paused.
"Or perhaps, you came here because you're actually feeling sorry for being an arrogant, cocky-" Sark cut her off.
"As much as your words warm my heart, I'm afraid I came here to make sure you do your job. I really don't need you missing another day of work because you were 'feeling bad'. And besides, surely you know I don't do 'sorrys' by now."

Sydney left APO trying to think of what she was supposed to do tonight. She sat on a bench she had found and started taking everything out of her purse. She tended to write things down on pieces of paper and then lose them in there. She looked in a pocket planner and found today's date. She hit herself on the head with the flat of her hand.
"Dinner! I'm making dinner!" she growled frustrated that she had forgotten.
She walked to her car, briskly and drove to the supermarket.
When she drove into her driveway her car was loaded down with groceries. She grabbed the five large brown paper bags and went towards her house. At the door she realized she didn't have her keys in her hands.
"Oh bother!"
She put her hip against the door and smashed grocery bags against it, digging into her pockets for her keys. The door opened and Sydney fell forwards, groceries and all. Strong arms caught her and she looked up at Vaughn. He was trying not to laugh.
"Need a little help?"
"Yes, please." she said smiling up at him, knowing how she looked at the moment.

Kali raised her hand in the direction of Sark, but he ducked before she could do anything. Kali suddenly felt herself being knocked to the floor from beneath her legs.
"I wasn't actually going to hit you you know." She paused, looking up at Sark who was currently on top of her.
"You're crushing me.." She put on her 'suffocation' voice. Sark took his body weight off of her and smiled at her. It wasn't a smirk, not a sneer, not even a leer, it was just a smile. Kali burst out laughing. "Oh. My. God." She said through laughs, so really all you could hear was the 'My' part.
"Was that..a smile?" She pulled herself together.
"What are you talking about?" She was about to answer, but her lips were sealed with a kiss. She grabbed him by the shoulders and shoved him off of her. She rolled over on top of him, her legs on either side of him.
"You're avoiding my question, aren't you?" She asked.
"Absolutely not."
"I must say, I only came here to discuss business with you. You're very...distracting. Especially when I have a plane to catch." He said, glancing at his watch. She rolled her eyes and stood up.
"You say I'm distracting?" She asked. He walked out of her broken door and she yelled after him.
"I know that was a smile!" She didn't even have to see his face to know he was smirking as he walked off.

(Is it just me..or was that post seriously corny? *hits self for making an even 'close to being so stupidly corny post'*)

(*rolls eyes* Getting onto the next missions..And OMG! I found a picture of my character! See, it's from this game that I've played, and I just replayed it a few days ago, and I realized that the character looks exactly like my Alias RPG character. Lookie!



Oh, and as for the thing that looks like a pimple on the left side of her face..it's actually a freckle in the game. Now, my RPG character doesn't have that. But hehe, everything else is what I look like. The person in the picture has her hair in like a sort of bun..or something..I don't know. Kali usually has her hair down though. Hehe. Yeah...I'm so glad I found that picture. Right..anyways...*double posts*)
