Macar sat there by the fire, thinking once again. He stood up, walking over to Sen, he reached into his pack, pulling the stone which he had found in the swamp out. "Can you tell me what this is?" He extended his hand, the dark globe of crystal sitting in his hand. It didn't reflect the light of the pyre, but had an eirry light of its own, going from a dark sullen red, to a tint of yellow and orange. "A palantir?"

"Palantir?" murmured Macar, "Tis possible that it is the lost stone of Amon Hen," He tried to avoid contact in it with his mind, but alas, he was weak, and it brought his gaze upon itself. Macar's eyes darkened as he looked into the swirling red of the globe. He lowered the globe, turning to the fire. He drew his sword, and used it to cut a hole into one of the body's clothing. IT was burnt, but his blade hit something metalic. Macar quickly reached into the pocket, and pulled out a silver dagger. He dropped it onto the ground near his feet, "HOT HOT HOT!" He shouted. The pain left his hand, as he waited for the dagger to cool. Once it had done so, he reached for it, picking it up. " Modest design," he whispered, "problably Gondorian from the looks of it." He raised it about his head, looking at it from all angles, "Definately stolen." He tucked the prize into his belt and packed the globe away, "From now on this is to be used with utmost caution!" he cautioned, "that is...if it is to be used at all."

*Sen looked at the orb. It did indeed look like a palantir, though to have one as such could bring temptation or misfortune even to the most wise and brave.*
If it be a palantir, it should be covered. We do not know who may be watching. If there is anything of value to our mission on the dead, I will find it.
*Sen turned away from the others, and walked out for a short while. When he was far enough away, he spoke in a tongue very few know.*
Death, lend me the dead. I wish to speak with the leader of the band we just killed.

Macar covered the globe tightly, wrapping it in a cloth. He turned to watch Sen as he summoned death.
(The globe thing might be very important. LOL. I just threw it in. Ill try to go too wild.)

Deawen didnt' want to see death she had seen him too many times and had too many encounters while travling through the shadows. she wasn't exactly allowed to travle in such a way but she was quick enough to get past Death without having to be noticed however there was one time Death almost caught her. It was not wise to taunt death in such a way but Deawen had a knack of getting in trouble. Deawen sat in the saddle staring at nothing.

*A figure cloaked in shadow appeared in front of Sen, and, instead of being afraid, Sen greeted him as an old friend.*
I was wondering when you would call on me again. It has been a long time since we have spoken.
*Sen smiled.*
Indeed old friend. We have spent to long in our separate ways. I would ask you how goes everything, but I think the response would be the same. It is a grim time we live in. Though here is a chance to abate it. I need to speak with one of those that were killed, to find out anything I can about them, and if there is anything of value to us among their remains.
*Sen nodded, and a ghostly figure appeared beside them. Sen knew it was time to use as much tact as possible. After all they had just killed him...*

Deawen Watched out of the corner of her eyes. Aernel wolfed at the ghost her fur bristling Aernel stalked up beside Sen growling. Bredol stayed relitivly calm he chomped at his bit. Deawen sat ridged in her seat. like Aernel her hackles went up in anger, because of this man she was forced to use her gift to the point of Darkness.

Far away something moved very quickly across the desert it covered all devored sunlight but since it was night it devoured stars and moon light.
Deawen sensed something odd the wind suddenly stopped nothing made any noise. she kept quiet, Bredol shifted and was suddenly skiddish.

*As soon as the figure appeared, Sen spoke to it.* We need your help, and you will give it to us.
*The figure of the raider began to laugh.*
And why should I help you? I have no reason in the world to do so.
*Sen walked closer, and as he did, his gauntlets began to glow pale white. All of a sudden, he reached out, and grabbed the ghostly figure by the throat, lifting him off his feet.*
Because, I could make eternity a torment for you. You would burn till the ages of Middle Earth are utterly spent, and your tortured ghost would still remain.
*Sen set him down, and stepped back. The glow faded from his gauntlets.*
Or, you could help us, and spend eternity in the halls of your forefathers, whatever they may be. It is your choice.
*The ghost thought for a second, rubbing his ethereal neck.*
Fine. There is a pack of letters in my backpack, if it isn't burned already. I don't know, but they might help you. May I leave?
*Sen nodded at Death, and both dissapeared. Sen turned back to the burning corpsed of the fallen, looked at it for a second, and then thrust his hand deep into the burning flames, returning a second later with a slightly charred backpack.*
Here we are. Deawen, you would be able to read these better than I.
*Sen finished, as he tossed the backpack to Deawen.*

WIthout looking at what was thrown at her she caught the backpack. Deawen reached inside, her expressions cloaked as she pulled out three papers without openeing the paper she threw one down " map of Bredena " she said causaly the second and third papers concerned her she opened one " a letter from my Brother a month ago" bitter hatred once again rose "it seems my brother wanted me dead" she threw the letter down and focused on the third letter " a ransom...well the good news is I am worth 5,000 gold pieces dead or alive" Deawen's hair went Bright red she sifted through the backpack and found a stack of papers. " royal seal " Deawen said pointing out the wax on the top letter. "mostl likely intercepted letter" Deawen mused she slid of the saddle and picked up the papers she threw down. as she bent down to pick up the map the wind suddenly picked up "what is that?" she breathed a huge cloud was moving right towards them " sandstorm!" she yelled She pulled everyone close togther. She reached out to sen's hand She gripped it..on contact she sent a wave of fire through him like a lighting bolt, she was forcing him to use his gift. she extended her free hand and a stable globe of fire surrounded all of them. Deawen's hair was vivdly copper her eyes clear blue but her skin was very very pale.. the energy that flowed through them was enough to kill a hundred men But it effected Deawen and Sen very little, she had fused her gift with that of Sens To create something greater than herself. The sand beat agaisnt the bearer with enough force to strip skin from flesh. the wind howled and groaned it was darker than it was before.

(I'm sorry to announce this but I don't have time for this RP anymore. Life is getting to be frustrating and things are happening. *hugs all* Thanks for the fun and memories! I'll try to come back eventually!)

((okay, bye!))
As Deawens barrier went up, Daine was thrown back by the force. She blinked, what had happened? Where had the sandstorm come from.
Daine coughed and sputterd, the wind whippped across her face burning her skin. Where had everyone gone? The sandstorm began to pick up speed, wraping her cloak around herself tightly she crotched down buried her head in her arms. Why does this always happen to me? Daine felt sand begining to pile itself ontop of her as the minutes ticked by, it was getting harder and harder to breath. Soon Daine lost conceiness, the weight of the sand suffocating her.

Deawen kept the Barrier up even when the sands began to recid. Deawen let go of Sen's hand she felt a wave of guilt but it quickly passed as fear set in "where is Daine!?" she breathed.

Deawen shouted fro Daine the fear mixed with her already present gift was an i'll combination. she spun around then stood in one place the heat from her fear was intense the sand under her feet began to melt into glass. Deawen took a deep breath and concentrated using part shadow and her gift she sent a series of pulses through the sand.
