"Thank you Gibbs," the doctor said.
Pulling Jack's eyes open further, he said, "Hmmmmmmm, not good lad. It seems to me that you are completely blind. I cannon fix this." He stood up and rubbed his bald head.

"Oh...Portia...don't cry... You are not a coward!" Will was very uncomfortable when women cried. Yes, he felt sorry for them, but he didn't know how quite to deal with it.
He stood up nervously, "Would you like some more whiskey to ease the pain?"

Portia shook her head and stared at a wall. "I'll just 'andle it meself." She said and then started her silence. She was completely mad at herself and she didn't want to bite anyone's head off accidentally.

Looking down at his wound, he could see the blood seeping through once again, "Bloody......." he said in an irritated mannor.

The doctor eyed Gibbs sadly and then sat back down in the chair. Popping Jack's eyelids open wider this time, he examined them once more. "No.....no lad......" the doctor said in a sad defeated voice. "See if you can follow my finger," he waved his finger in front of Jack's face.

He walked away from her and into the other room, where Gibbs, Jack and the doctor were located.

The doctor dropped his finger slowly into his lap and drooped his head. This upset him....the man was blind. Turning his head to Gibbs sadly, he shook it in a sorrowful manner.
"I'm sorry to tell you this, lad....but you're completely blind. I can't fix this," he then began to stand up from his chair.

Jack's face fell flat. For once that cocky smirk had wiped clean off. "Bug.ger..." he mummbled, eyes looking away into the darkness, but in reality, they looked to the floor.
