Vincent swiftly hopped to te ground as an arrow struck the trunk of the tree about an inch from his head.. He saw the troll and groaned inwardly.. His red eyes shifted to each person on the ground. Quickly, he elevated himself and landed on another tree branch and stood there watching the fight..

Vennir's eyes widened, but then he looked at the beast with pure determination. After a few movments with his arms, Tajien was guarded from the troll with a low wall of earth. He then started throwing sharply shaped pieces of ice at the troll's head, unfortunatly, the troll's skin was tough, and the majority broke on contact. Vennir sighed. This wasn't doing anything, and soon enough he would run out of energy. He had to find a different strategy. After a bit of self-debate, Vennir snached up his sword and tried his best to recall the moves that Elendi had taught him. He swung at the beast's legs, attempting to weaken them, but he had gotten too close; the troll swung its heavy axe down, nearly slicing Vennir in half. But, the sharpened blade had penetrated the ground deeply, and was stuck well into the earth.

Smirking, Vennir took the opportunity to send a wave of air at his opponent's head, hoping to confuse the animal. He then tried his luck, and threw a chunk of earth at the troll's head with all he could, and ended up knocking him out. Removing the earth barrier protecting Tajien, he hoisted the man up by one arm, bracing him agaist his body.

"Come, on Tajien... We've got to get away from here before that monster wakes up."

"Bring him here!" Meleth shrieked at him, motioning with an arm to a young woman with her bow strung. "Mirrim - Tajien's wounded, get him behind the lines fast." The woman nodded and dropped her bow, starting out to assist Vennir.

Meleth herself sped towards the battle, a sphere of light growing in her palm.

Stifling a groan of pain with all his resolve, Tajien muttered some very coarse words underneath his breath as a way of venting his pain, then he glared balefully at the prone troll. "Bloody beast.." he muttered, and a few seconds later, the troll's body was engulfed in flames.

(There's another couple trolls, though, so don't get all complacent.)

Mirrim hoisted his other shoulder, and said quickly, "Please don't do that - you people always try to use elements wounded, it does not improve your health. Help me!" she said imperiously to Vennir.

Meleth hurled another sphere of light at a second troll, groaning inwardly.

Vennir only jumped slightly at the sudden flames, having been around many fire handlers all his life. He, Mirrim, and Tajien hobbled along for a while, but then to Vennir's horror, three more trolls appeared, coming out with clubs and axes. He rolled his head as he took in the even larger troll that followed.

"Oh not again..." He said as he tried to raise a wall to separate himself and Tajien from the oncoming threat, but instead the trolls smashed through it, as if it wasn't there. This definatly wasn't good. He started attacking the beasts with all of the elemental power he could muster, but drew back at last, heaving for breath. He tried to throw an ice spear at them, but instead found his arms and legs weak. He was running out of energy. Fast. He looked up at the beasts, sweat running down his brow. There was no way he could win this...

Thane yelped as a troll hammer hit the ground mere inches from him. He hurredly fired an arrow into the troll's throat. The beast howled and backed off. Kith, as an elephant, charged and drove the troll to the ground. Being much heavier the shapeshifter managed to crush the troll's skull.

Meleth hurled a sphere of light at another troll's head, where it burst and inflicted an ugly wound. The troll sank to the ground, clawing at its head and howling deafeningly, and she turned to assist the others. Surveying Vennir, she yelled, "You get behind the lines too - all you're going to do is drain yourself of energy!"

Frowning in concentration, she caused a sort of pallet of light to materialize underneath Tajien and sent it moving swiftly towards camp. Mirrim followed, and Meleth turned back to the battle.

Groden threw his last throwing axe at the nearest troll, hitting it behind its knee. It didn't do much, unfortunately. "Let's just see how well you take to being hit with my mace," he said out loud, charging the troll. He slammed his enchanted weapon into the beast, and the concussive force of the blow was magnified greatly by the enchantment, resulting in a strike powerful enough to throw the troll backwards through several saplings, to hit the ground. Hard. "You won't be getting up soon," Groden said to the the troll, which was, at the least, unconscious.

Vennir, alrhough normaly very stubborn, nodded and staggered off, going behind the safty of the other warriors, and hid behind a rock. He could hear the others saying things, although he couldn't tell what they were saying... "How on earth is she going to battle four trolls..." Vennir let his mind run wild in his worn state, hoping that no one would see him, and that none of the others would get killed.

Just became a college freshman; be on sparingly

( Elendi and Vennir were sparring, and Vennir left to go and fight, and now his hiding behind a rock because his energy is down to nil, and so far your charrie hasn't gone anwhere. Mirrim is fighting trolls, Tahien is shot, Raevyn... I don't know... and the others... I'm not sure of either.)
