The Princess, the Crone and the Dung-cart Knight was good too though, and Gawain makes me laugh Yes! I love Gawain! He's hilarious! Which 'new' one do you mean? Becuase 'The Lioness and her Knight' is relitively new... But 'The Quest for the Fair Unknown' is the newest... I want it for Christmas! But, my fav. Character from the beginning has to be Terence. Very elf like, and I love his personality! Along with his wry sense of humor...
There are TWO?
*Dies*
Okay, I am way behind, I MUST read BOTH of those. Bad Mel, not keeping up with things! I thought The Liioness and her Knight was the newest one!
Yeah, Terence is funny too...but I love Gawain and Kai, they're SO funny. And I get Gaheris and Gareth mixed up, but whichever one of them marries Lynet, he makes me laugh too.

Well, MIDDLE english (often mis-called as old) is english with all the 'ye', 'thou' 'thee' and all that... OLD is like i whole different language. For instance, if you've ever seen a copy of Beowulf in its original translation, THAT is in old enlish.

Look Star Gazer, I did not mean middle english at all. When I say old English I mean old English, and I was just saying I find Old English a nicer language than middle english. I do not make such careless mistakes (usually) * smiles a bit.
Btw, for background for newbies, Old English is English in probably its most purest form. Influenced Heavily by Norsic and Germanic tongues and dialects, it has gutteral Quality that german is most famous for nowadays. It also has a certain roll to it that can be told and it is a language that I feel, is better Sung or chanted rather than said. It is like a form of Khuzdul (the closest lotr language to it probably) if you like , but is still a great language. 8) 8) Beowulf is a good example of a text written in Old English lol. 8)
