The doctor placed hand on Jack's shoulder and said, "I'm sorry, mate." Looking up to Gibbs, he shook his head sadly, "Nothing.....he will be like this the rest of his God given life."

As Will stepped into the room, he grimaced and then said, "Excuse me, doctor....but I think I need your help." He looked down at his side, the blood was now leaking out and running down his pant leg.

Jack's eyebrows bent downwards, and his face was flattened with pure depression. He had to tell himself that the doctor was wrong. I mean, how could it be that the infamous Jack would now forever be as blind as a bat? No no no, the doctor had to be wrong.
"...I need a drink..." he simply stated.

(I WILL BE OUT OF TOWN THIS WEEKEND. I'M LEAVING TOMORROW AND WILL BE BACK LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON.)
The doctor turned to face the table and grabbed the whiskey bottle that sat on top of it. He sighed and handed it to Jack, "It may do you good, son."
Hearing Will's voice coming toward him, his eyes caught the site of blood. "Not another one!" he shouted. Rolling his eyes, he said, "All right, sit here on the table." Removing the sleeve of Amara around Will's waist the doctor said, "Gibbs, you know what to do."

Will hobbled onto the table. He bit his tongue as the doctor removed the bandage. "Jack, we need to talk," Will said trying to get his mind off the pain.

He licked the flavor off of his lips, and listened for Will to continue.

As Will sat on the table, he began to tell his long story aboard the Dutchman. "Jack, Jones said that he needed to speak with you. And you only have three days to do this. If you don't......." his eyes drifted toward Jack's face, " Jack......he has a voodoo doll. It could turn ugly."

Portia slowly opened her eyes and looked around the room. She noticed that Will was gone, but she then heard his voice in the other room. He was speaking of a voo-doo doll.
She raised an eyebrow and slowly sat up, which made her gasp in pain. She looked down to her side and remembered that she had it stitched up earlier. She sighed deeply and ran her fingers through her hair.
