One thing I really hated about Eldest was the fact that Roran blamed Eragon for so much. It's like, Wake up! Look at the world! If he hadn't left, you all would be dead! But noooo, all he can think about is how terrible Eragon is.

I know...I really didn't like how he rambled on on blame...

but, it is like he kept Roran in the dark...but for his own protection...I really hated Roran reading the book but know i can see both sides...

did you guys happen to notice that the charatcers say 'Aye' more in Eldest than in Eragon? Or is that just me.

Roran is kinda cool like in the first few chapters of Eragon... but then he turns against Eragon, his cousin, and isn't the best character... though I agree with all of your opinions.

Though... I don't know all that goes on in Eldest. I got it from the library, was only able to read a few chapters, and had to give the book back. Though my friends at school have read it... and spoiled it with telling me Murtagh and Eragon were brothers! *glares at friends*

Anyway... anyone exicted about the movie coming out? Though I think the movie producion people are going to ruin the book with the movie! I mean... in the book I imagined Eragon with a darker complection than they show him in the movies.... And looking at your banners (since I haven't seen him in the movie or anything else yet) Murtagh looks kinda creepy...

I never though a person with elven influence would look so creepy. And Eragon doesn't look creepy and he's his brother! (if you talking about Murtagh that is)

Murtagh looks creepy and dark at the same time...kinda like Aragorn can be a shaggy ranger and a King of a whole nation...

Ah yes. Murtagh does sorta remind me of Aragorn, in a way.
