Somehow, I'll have to find a cinema that shows Happy Feet in the original English version ...in this case, the german synchronisation would be quite unsatisfying...
Eariel, do ya know what I got from the library today? ...The Open Door!! I was so excited! I haven't listened to all the song yet, but till now, my favourites are "Lithium" and "Like you". I liked the album so far. I thought I was going to be disappointed because they will never again write a song that i love so much as "My Immortal", but I wasn't. The album itself was more interesting to me than "Fallen", like the experiment with Mozart's Lacrymosa (me being a classical music addict and all... ) also, I realized for the first time how beautiful Amy's voice is. She sings with a certain clarity, her voice sometimes being almost piercing, and it goes so well with that kind of music. I love to sing myself, but I could never do what she does. Amazing.
Sorry for that off-topic bit.

Don't worry about it. I love her voice, too, lol. And I'm so glad you got the Open Door! I love that cd! (My faves are also Lithium and Like You, although for me the song they'll be hard put to surpass is my fave Ev-song ever, My Last Breath. )
Anyway, back on topic. *looks around nervously for evidence of mods*
I hope you do get to see Happy Feet in English. Man, the more I hear about this movie, the more I want to see it! Which i guess is kind of unusual for me with an animated film about animals. So that's a compliment to this one, I guess (considering that it's not just for Elijah that i want to go see it...though that's one of the major reasons. lol) *wants one of those Mumble stuffed animals you guys were talking about*
Oooh, I'll have to go to their site and see that clip! Thanks, Drew. *sigh* All you lucky people who know when you'll get to see it...lol I may see it next weekend (not this one--unfortunately ), but I don't know for sure yet. My mom says my younger sisters would probably like to see it as well...Oh goodie, I can introduce them early to the wonder that is Lij. lol...
You're right, Zandain, there is a lot of stuff to read when you don't come on for a few days. (I know that might seem to describe me recently...I've come on more recently than I've posted, though--i didn't before either because I didn't feel up to it or there wasn't time, or something.) You're welcome btw--I love sharing my poetry. (Speaking of which, I've posted another poem in the Frodo club... lol Just in case you should want to see it. )

EarielMaurwen, You're welcome.
ForeverFrodo, That was realy weird. Though at the same time, kind of cool. I wonder if Elijah Wood has a myspace page...I don't think that he does. Does anybody else know for sure one way or the other?

I tried to find out whether he has myspace...but I didn't find anything. Would have been cool, though. He's kind of the guy that does have MS. If he had, I'd make myself a page just to be able to add him to my friends
EDIT: Eariel, my absolute favourite at the moment is "Good Enough". Sorry to the mods (who will probably not read this )

^I wasn't able to find anything either. Hmm, I guess that he doesn't have one. Oh, well.
Yeah, I would too. Anyway thanks for looking. Oh, and before I forget (again) thanks for the Frodo myspace page link.

Just a little note to Eariel: there's another Poetry Contest running. Thought you might be interested...

^Thanks, I saw that. (And have entered. ) Were you planning to, btw? (Or anyone else on here? There are only a few spots left though...)
That was interesting about the Frodo myspace page. Hmm...*can't think of anything else to discuss* We could always go back to swooning over Frodo's chewing.
Or we could talk about how we can't wait to see Happy Feet, I guess, lol.

Um just to let you know...Elijah Wood is going to be on December 1st on Jimmy Kimmel (according to some website). I don't know if anybody's interested or if it'll be any good but there it is.
p.s I can't wait for the day after tomorrow! So I can go and watch the penguin movie.

^I'm hoping to go on Friday, as well. It'll be nice to know that you and TT (if i remember correctly?) and I will all be going on the same day, even if we can't go see it together... (I have this wish that my online friends and I could meet eachother in real life, so that's what that was about. Maybe at some LotR convention, lol.)
Thanks for the info. Sry, I'm not sure what Jimmy Kimmel is, though--i'm assuming a tv show?
(Btw, we should start posting in the Frodo club again. Also, for those of you who entered, Pip&leggyluvr has put up the awards to her poetry contest. I tied with TT--and Rose of Rivendell, i think?--for second place! )

^Wow, the three of us are all going on the same day?! That's realy cool. Oh, I can't wait for tomorrow!
That would totally rock! I have that wish too.
Um, it's a late night (I think) tv talk show. I'm thinking that it may be on ABC (in the USA). Though I'm not 100% sure.
That's great. Congrats!

Thanks!
Btw, where I live, Jimmy Kimmel Live comes on at 11pm. That should give y'all an idea--and yes, on ABC. That'll be nice to have Elijah Wood on it.

Ahhh, the mods caught me! Sorry, Ivreniel, I'll keep that in mind. I'm just so used to talk openly about things that might interest other members, too. I'll PM Eariel the next time.
Again, I hate not to have American TV. No Jimmy Kimmel Live for me, no Elijah for me I guess I should move to the US.

I think your being German is cool, though. (btw, I love that added bit to your siggy! That's something any one of us could say with relish. )
Happy Birthday TT! (if I remember correctly?) Hope you had a good one. Speaking of things that happened today, those of you who saw Happy Feet today (which unfortunately I was not able to do, but will soon hopefully) will have to tell us all about it (except for spoilers, i mean lol).
Edit: I now have seven hundred posts! Only a hundred more and I'll be a Half-Elf. (I think. )

Well, Germany is ok, but you always want the things you have not, don't you?
Haha, yes, I'm so excited because fo the A-U winter ball! But I think I can manage to share Frodo a bit.
We desperately need a new topic, btw.
