Man, that sucks.
Take it again, you should! (don't worry. I'll probably fail too when I get a chance. )
I hvae cried in front of people before, usually a smaller group but yeah, I'm kindof used to doing that.

Yes, I can take it again... thank you! I know it isn't really a major problem that I failed, but everyone expected me not to fail and that was depressing... Well, forget it, I think I'll be okay now!

At school everyone always expects me to do good on tests and such. I hate it, because they fail half the time and when I get a bad mark, which isn't that often, they act all proud of themselves. People are so annoying.

Yeah, I get that all the time!! *is happy to find someone else who that happens to* Except for the part about getting less than a hundred, I usually just get high 90s. And when I don't people are all like, "Yeah I'm better than you, I beat you." And I'm thinking, I get a higher mark than you all the time and I don't shove it in your face.

I'm in the same situation. Tap the person on their back, hug 'em and say it aloud 'OMG we're some smart together!'

Good one.
Funny how this turned from a "depressed" thread to a "nerds commiserating" thread. Not that its a bad thing A good example of how human contact is good for your mental health. Now tell me that on a bad day...

^ Then let's change it back into a depressed club!
I'll begin: I'm really depressed right now, today really has been tough for me. First: I had a Maths exam, well, I was quite good, but it stressed me... next followed that I phoned with my stepmom and she told me that my father's aunt has died tonight. I didn't know her well, so normally I shouldn't be too sad, but the problem is that I really would've liked to get to know her! I only learned to know my father and this part of my family 3 1/2 years ago, because my mom and dad don't talk with each other. So I never even had the chance to get to know her! That makes me so sad! And then, I just wanted to sit down and start crying about this, a friend of mine stormed into the classroom crying and I had to care for her because there was no one else in the room. Somehow this was too much for me, I needed to be alone for some time, but couldn't leave her and had to listen to her problems... And then I got home at last and my mom turns up and starts an argument with me once more... I was so angry with her, she doesn't care a bit about me!

i need to join this one...
as some of you may know i live in the south, and racism down here really stinks. believe me. i'm not racist; but my mom is. and my exboyfriend, who she made me break up with, is black. i really really like Derick, but now if i even talk to him my mom comes down on me, saying if i go out with him "people will look down on me"
this has me very depressed; why can't people have the innocence of a little child when it comes to these things?

Right now I feel better again, though still not good. I wished the next few days would be over soon and it'd be weekend and I could rest and just do nothing and be alone!

^I know what you mean! Some days you just get so tired out and you can't seem to function until you get some time to just relax.
Chaya - that sucks. People can be really stupid sometimes, you know? (No offence to your mom.)
