*shrugs* It's not always that hard. Sometimes it's very hard... but the closer to the movie it gets, the easier it gets. And it's easier doing it yourself than bugging potr unmercifully.

And, like I said, I might be more willing to share some stuff if I had many concrete details to share. This stretch of time in which they're trying to wrap up filming and get ready for advertising never makes for very good spoiler hunting.

^Agreed. I try not to tell anyone anything either until I know it's concrete... though I'm never near as up to date as you are. I think you ought to be A-U's official spoiler hunter.

I haven't found it yet... and it's not fair, I haven't been on long enough to have been here when potr gave a "limited time offer." Maybe I'll just search through all the threads related to PotC...

But I'm pretty much bound to find it eventually. I'm getting better and better at finding things... despite the fact that I've only been using the internet for a year.

Well, the problem is, which one on the first page. I've looked at a lot of them before, but not all of them...

EDIT: If I didn't qualify for a PotC fan before, I believe I do now. I figured out after the first few pages of reading this topic that I wasn't going to get the link. But guess what I did? I spent two hours skimming over all 40 of the pages of this topic that were posted before I joined. Yes. I am insane.

I heard about Norrington being an admiral on the POTC wiki, but it could just be a rumor.

Yes to the first, yes to the second, but only insofar as you believe the leaked script.
I personally don't think James dies. The script never says the words [Norrington dies], and the rough draft we got was cut off just after that scene. Personally, I think that was intentional, but I have no proof of that. But yes, Bootstrap (at least in the rough draft) stabs James.
I'm really not too worried, however. Nobody stays dead in PotC, and nothing's proven until it actually happens. Plus, whenever all of the Norrington fans were worrying about it right after the script was leaked, Ted stepped in to calm everyone down and told us to not hate them until we've seen the movie. So I'm actually feeling rather good about all this.

I may sound cold-hearted and uncaring (haha) but I'm not sure I really care if Norrington dies. I mean, it's one less shipper pairing to quibble over, for one And he's never been my favorite....though I did like him better scruffy...

I'd be a little sad... but not near as sad as I was when he went bad. That still irks me no end. He was so honourable, so wonderful, so British in CotBP, and then that all went down the drain... I wish he was like that again. But right now, I kind of want him to die since he's bad now. If he was good again, I'd want him to live.

in a trilogy, in the 3rd everyones expendable.

anyone can die and if its the end well then, they're dead.

but on the topic of spoilers. i like knowing somethings but i don't want to know big things. i like to wonder and find out from the movie. i have tryed spoiler hunting myself but i've not really found anything. part being b/c its still to early to know 2 much and.....i guess im just not that good at it. so i guess ill have to leave it up to others for right now.
