Aldaar protested this time from his mare. "I do not see any line to get in but people suddenly appear like there is". Glanced at the man nearby the general. "Any others waiting in the bushes sneakily??" he asked sarcastically again.

Rieltar hmped as he rather poorly rode on his horse, but managed as he was more used to be on foot yet then again horse riding came useful from time to time.

"Well in case ye haven`t noticed you bloody fool that I am a dwarf and ye know how annoying it`s to ride a horse when you are this short, nay ye don`t so shut it as getting on this bloody thing took time thats all..."

Korinth laughed. "Master Rieltar," He began "you may find it easier to ride if you sit back in your saddle. Let your wieght off your stirrups and grip with your legs. Move with the horse. It'll be hard. Yes, it is a disadvantage to be short and stocky, but you are doing well for a first timer." The vritch smiled. "Keep at it and you may be able to jockey for a living. They have to be small"

Lana slightly sighed but no doubt a dwarf would be useful in the mountains. Rieltar had come from the Appalines and with him and Koltok as their guides it would be almost impossible to get off course. She rolled her eyes at his complaints and gave Korinth a grateful look. "You may join us Rieltar. But keep up. Follow Korinth's advice for we'll be moving faster from now on." Her voice grew louder as she called to Meleth. "Quicken the pace, Meleth. We have several miles to cross and we must reach Cutthroat by six."

Meleth nodded in assent and spurred her horse into a fast, light trot without a backward glance. She wondered with a touch of mischief if the pace might be difficult for a new rider, but said nothing.

Avalyn nodded and then took to the skies, in the form of a falcon. She the went to hover over Lana, occansionally playing in the wind or looking around for anyone who might see the small party leaving base camp.

"Once we get there, Lana, what do you plan to do? Or are we making that up as we go along..."

Lana didn't answer for a moment. Her eyes narrowed as she concentrated. "I have a semi-plan. We'll attack at night. There are two protecting walls and we'll either have to find an enterance in the moat or scale the first wall. The palace has a very large garden and orchard with waterfall and river inside the first wall. There is a secret passage behind the waterfall, at least there was ten years ago. We probably use that. There is some magic barriers we'll have to get through. But I'm sure we can handle that. But nothing is certain yet. We'll have to lay low in Silcen for a few days and observe the castle. Things have probably changed since the last time any of us were there."

Avalyn nodded and the flew lower to the ground so that she about a yard away from Lana's left ear.

"You know... Once we break through the magical beariers... I can easily slip in and out unnoticed." She offered, then stayed silent, waiting for the vritche's answer.

"Ten years ago?" Aldaar raied an eyebrow. "How we get through then if you do not have any good plan. "We cannot just get in unnoticed. Just look at the dwarf. I have not seen someone so grumpy as him. That dwarf would delate our presence. And at the centaur. She surely will delate us with that kind of big horseshoes. As for a small passage, we need to get past the fortified walls first unnoticed which I suspect we will anyhow either with the grumpiness of the dwarf or the big horseshoes of the centaur that the noises could be heard from a mile before we reach to our destination and lead us to our doom." he shutted his mouth up at last hopelessly thought that none would ever listened him.

(Hee hee. That centuar is a he, not a she. But don't worry. He's very secure about his masculinity.)

Korinth nudged his mare forward. "And your pessimistic view will most certainly be the end of us.' The vritch gave him a sharp look. "We do the best with what we have. We can hope for no more. Of course, if you insist on being so pessimistic, you are more than welcome to leave."

Lana threw a look of warning to Aldaar. "First of all, that is why we will spend some time observing the palace. Second of all, I wasn't planning on everyone going in. Do you think I am incapable of leading? Do you think a man like General Rebak would let me be a General if I was stupid? And have you ever been in the palace dungeons then single-handedly escaped? Or even been inside?" Her violet eyes narrowed but she restrained herself from further commenting.

"She does make a point"

Rieltar said with an amused chuckle as Aldaar received an angry answer for his words, funny that Rieltar wasn`t trusted in the group in, which a captain dared to question the decision making of the general. Kharandros already knew of this latest turn and would give further orders besides following them around in time.

"She may make a point, dwarf, but we have traveled scarcely a fraction of our journey and already you seem to be the cause of discord among us. Perhaps you could remedy that?" This was delivered rather cuttingly by Meleth, but she kept her eyes on the road.

Aldenth frowned at the arguement. He watched out to the companies left, making sure there was no sign of enemies. Such discord so early on, between a group setting out on a dangerous mission, could only be bad news. His frown deepened when Aldaar questioned Lana. You should never question a general if you don't understand what they are doing. he thought, you just need to trust them. Especially one so capable as Lana. He was worried, but he stayed out of the arguement, listening to all that was said.

"Oh please..."

Rieltar hmped at the words of accusation towards him as this was all clearly coming from the earlier argument that he had thrown at them, Rieltar pulled out a pipe and light it quietly as he held his other hand tightly at the reins.

"Just because we disagree in the ways of combat ye suddenly think ye can turn me into the source of all yer problems? I never meant to hurt yer feelings, but I am entitled to an opinion and I stick to it. Or what is my past so concerning that it makes you uncomfortable? Being a bounty hunter was tiresome yet rewarding work and ye learned a thing or two about survival, fighting and life"

He said before blowing a smoke could into the air.

Avalyn listened silently to the ongoing argument, seemingly unoticed by the others. Mid-conversation, she changed forms into a mountain lion and walked alongside Lana, listening to Meleth say something about the dwarf causing discord. She was already about to rip everyone to shreads just because they were so loud, and the subject of the argument wasn't helping. Just as Rieltar finished his sentence, Avalyn had deciede enough was enough. Letting out a loud, deafening growl, she turned around and snapped right infront of the dwarf.

"Enough! I am tired of of this bickering! And because of that will not add to it. Right now we are going to be putting ourselves on the line. We'll need teamwork, not blades at each other's throats." She then growled low again, and returned to her place by Lana's horse.
