Im sorry Mrs Gamgee *hangs head in shame* Its a weakness of mine.
Anyway, Advent Calenders. The trouble with them is, that u have to exercise loadsa self control not ot open the next days box before then lol.

Hmph!! you lot don't know who lucky you are! Usually filled with chocolate!?!?!?!?!? i should be so lucky. We get boring picture ones each year. Not a so much as a chocolate button in sight! The only reason I like them is cos it counts down to the grand day, which is basically food, presents, laughter, fun, and good cheer all day. No choccy advent calendars in this house.
One day I'm gonna go and buy myself one. Just as a form of rebellion

Wow, I can't believe there are Brits out there who haven't seen the variety of advent calanders you can get!!
POTC, Barbie, Disney Pixar, Over the Hedge, TV shows, Star Wars etc. You can get these types of calanders in Asda, Woolies, Sainsbury's, literally anywhere that sells general food stuff. They are only about £2 as well.

Ok...what are Advent calenders...I'm in the same boat as Ms.Gamgee is, or was. Something to do with Christmas, right?

I think if I look for one...properly, I'll be able to find it. But it's not one of your usual things, I think I'll ahve to search hard and thoroughly.

If ur a Yank who wants an advent calender, go to all those tacky shops in major cities for tourists to bu merchandise from. They will probably sell u one but it will probably cost u and arm and a leg lol.

If your in the US, just try looking in any kind of store where you might buy normal calendars or cards. I believe you might find some at the Hallmark's store, if me research is correct.
@ Darrell: You poor deprived lad! No choccy filled Advent calendars?

Sounds good. I'll put one in the post for you if you don't manage to get one.
Hellooo! Sorry I have been absent for so long, but you know me. Hopeless. Lol.
But the good news is......you all know what happens when Este returns to the British Society??
*Everyone nods*
She brings food!!
*Sets table and arranges every type of British food imaginable*
