Jocelyn stands up straight, her gaze going past the girl in front of her, losing herself in the trees around them as if a sudden memory has passed over her.

"It is in my power to be able to save one person, to keep one protected from anyone and everything. This person will not be harmed if I am around them and I will not harm them either..." She said this softly, eyelids blinking ever so slowly.

Lloyd was by now thoroughly bored... but when the "girl" Annalette said she didn't want to be the undead, and when he saw the bruise on her arm that she quickly tried to hide, Lloyd had an idea.

"Hey, do you have a home? a family?" he tried to suppress the lust for blood in his red eyes, "i'll go home with you. I'll protect you."
