Elendi looked at her friend and was about to call out but a simluar dart hit her square in the neck also. She didn't even have time to curse before the drug began to take effect on her. Her body went limp and her head hung low.

Kith groaned as he slowly came to. He was on the stone floor again, behind thse same iron bars that had held him before. He struggled to his feet, supporting himself against the wall. Across the cell lay Elendi. He peered through the bars and saw two familiar faces, Braad and Meleth.

Elendi still layed lifeless, her body limp and sore. But one thing was different about her that no one had ever seen. Her right shoulder was exposed as her sleeve was pulled up when the guard threw her in the cell. On her shoulder and down her arm, was many deep gashes and wounds. They looked painful yet old.

Kith peered over at Elendi, his mind suddenly caught by her torn sleeve. The cuts on her arm looked familiar, but Kith didn't want to think about it.

"Id be more glad if I were free." Kith muttered. "They can't keep me locked down here forever, that's for sure." He tried shifting, but he was still far too weak to break the magic. Even at full strength he wouldn't be able to, unless extremely maddened.

Braad woke up from the slight doze he had been in when he heard people talking. He pushed himself off the wall with his uninjured arm, and looked around the prison. A small grin crossed his face. "Well, I guess none of us had much luck on our 'escape'." he said.
