Ah c'mon, we need Eowyn, a president with guts and a real commander-in-chief! Eowyn for Prez!

I went with Boromir... he's a born leader, and men are willing to follow him. Not to mention he's just amazingly cool...

Aragorn - He's already King, that's enough, ain't it? Plus I think he'll be all, "Hmm... maybe I should do it? No, definantly not! But then again.... ok! No - it's too much, I can't! But it's my destiny..."
Arwen - She's too flimsy & whiny. "Daddy won't let me go to Rohan to settle an agreement!" *pouts*
Boromir - If he weren't dead, he'd be a bit over-the-top, I could see him trying to make Minas Tirith all majorly uber-powerful, but stealing stuff off other cities to do so.
Eowyn - She's far too stubborn and stuck-up. She'd most likely not take any advice whatsoever.
Gimli - Similar to Eowyn, rather stubborn and ignoring advice.
Gollum - He'd be my second choice but... no.
Legolas - He's kinda vain plus he'd be chased by fangirls 24/7!
Treebeard - Ain't he a bit old nowadays? He'd get all confuzzled, poor thing...
My vote goes to... Galadriel! Yeah, she's gone to the West, but she could still come back... She could use her telepathic mojo on people who don't support her! She's rather powerful and she wouldn't be easily corrupted! An ideal President indeed.

I voted for Arwen, because she would be not only beautyful, but all knowning, since she is an elf!!!

I vote Gandalf!
He is so wise, and trustable.

Not considering where people are, whether they are dead or not, etc...
I would have to say
a. Elrond
b. Gandalf
c. Celeborn
I think all three are great leaders, and any of them would do good as president.
Eowyn would be good, but I can't really see her as that...
Haha.... Este, I love that...

I agree that Boromir would be a good president. Though I think that Elrond or Galadriel might be too what with their powers to see into the future and all. And hey we need a woman president!

lol Well, I say Gandalf because he's wise (DUH!,) takes initiative, and is capable of getting people in line if necessary. (*recalls the meeting of Gandalf's staff and Denethor's nose in RotK*) Anyway, the point is, I'd trust his judgement and his ability.

loves everyone's replies to this....it's great seeing the debate and reasoning behind the choices I see most of them...minus gollum...having some wonderful skills needed in a leader, my choice has wavered but I still stick to Aragorn, he's slightly less aged than Gandalf, less wise too perhaps but so much more wise than Denethor too

I still think Pippin would be awesome!
He is not as wise as the others...but he is brave and funny! Now, we need a funny president to make polictics interesting! Not boring! (no offense to anyone...)

Well Aragorn's definitely my second choice, especially since Gandalf's "gone bye-bye." (Grey Havens.)
