however, it is my duty to point out the cacti are immortal and every time you "kill" one, you get TWO cacti...

I think I know what you mean by the broomstick thing - isn't that fantasia? And isn't there that greek myth where you cut off the beasts head and it grew two back - i think hercules had to fight it. But I've probably got that wrong, neither my disney knowledge or my greek mythology know-how is up to much...
