^Yep. That was the vid I was talking about. Glad you found it and thanks for posting it for me Eariel. I saw those other ones awhile ago. They were great.
Yes. Have now listened The Open Door in its entirety. I like it. I think I may like Fallen better, but this one's definitely great. Eariel, that's weird that you posted about those two songs because those are my favorites. Lithium and All That I'm Living For. I also like Weight of the World. I was listening to that one and Lithium over and over again today. I couldn't get them out of my head. I can definitely see where the songs would work for Frovids. A lot of Evanescene's songs could. You know, maybe we should start and/or revive an Evanescence thread in the music subforum, since we talk about them so much. Could be fun.
I don't think Lij has lost his crazy and funny-ness, I just think he's a little more subdued than he used to be. Like I said, maybe he's just grown up a little bit. I think growing up tends to have that effect on people. That's why I never want to grow up. I still think he's got a wonderful personality. He's still an incredible person. And he's still mostly the same. It's just that.... time brings changes in everyone I guess. By the way, I don't get to see him on TV very much either Eariel, considering that I don't ever watch it. I'm spekaing from things I've seen on YouTube mainly, though I did catch a quick glimpse of him on Nickelodeon, which my little brothers watch obsessively.
I ahve to go now. Schoolwork! Bleargh.

You're welcome. (Lithium is perhaps my favorite song as well, and All That I'm Living For is another favorite. There's actually an Evanescence club in the club section, though last time i checked no-one had posted for a while, but we could revive that if we wanted to, i suppose. It'd be nice to be able to talk about Evanescence without being concerned about going off-topic, lol.) I agree in that a lot of their songs could be used for Frovids.
I'm glad you agree about the crazy funny-ness. You're right, time (and growing up) bring change to people. We don't even have Nickelodeon, though my little sisters would probably watch it if we did. So lucky you, getting to see him on there! (Btw, speaking of growing up--or not--I guess I'll be seeing you in Neverland, lol. )
Hope you get through schoolwork okay. For me today it's ballet class--which i like, but it means less time on the computer. Bye for now.

I just got done listening to practically the entire album over again. I'm prettys sure I have listened to Weight of the World and Lithium at least six times apiece today. I'd definitely be willing to revive the Evanescence club if no one's posting there. As you say Eariel, it'd be nice to talk about it without going off topic.
I was actually going to say something about Neverland in my last post, but usually when I do that no one gets/agrees with/understands my lame Peter Pan allusions. I've become especially fascinated with Neverland ever since seeing Finding Neverland. I love that movie. But that's for another thread. I'm glad someone else seems to get it though Eariel.
I apologize for the very badly off topic post. Moddies, if you read this, please don't kill me. I promise to be good next time.
I think I'll go and post in the Frodo club really quickly before I go. Bye all!

Ha! There you see! I'm no the only one who is off-topic, moddies!
Just kidding.
Ok, girls, I really have to apologize. I have been neglecting you for far too long...
I don't really have much time now, it's 8.30 pm and I have to do my schoolwork for tomorrow. I just drove with our new car, it was awesome...
Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I'm still alive and I will post more tomorrow.
TT, you're right: Weight of the world is strangely connected with Frodo, in a way. I desperately need more time for Frovids!
Froooodo. Yes, I have to few time for him.
School...well, you all know, I guess.
So, talk to you tomorrow! *hugs everybody*

^ Aww! It's nice to see you Forever. *huggles back* Don't feel bad. School is definitely amazingly time consuming. In fact, I should probably be doing some sort of schoolwork right now, but I'm typing this out instead. Ah well. I promise to leave after this post.
Weight of the World definitely sparks Frodo associations, especially with regards to the Ring. Thinking about it, I could see specific parts or scenes from LOTR flashing before me as it played. It was cool. I wish I had the technology/skill/time to make a good Frovid out of it. *sigh* Someday maybe.....

I don't have a program to make vids with, unfortunately. Maybe it's better that way, otherwise I would spend even more time in front of the computer
I've watched the all of the youtube vids from the last page. They were amazing! OMG Elijah was so cute! I love how he talks about the things he's doing. It's like, well, he's a funny guy and he loves to laugh (obviously ), but you can actually feel that he means the things he's talking about, that he's serious about what he's doing (acting or his record label) and I love that. I hate people who are just saying things because the fans or whoever expects them to say it.

Yeah, that's good about him. One thing I admire him for is that he's not only amazingly nice to us fans , but he also seems very...comfortable with himself--not easily embarrassed, if you know what i mean...
Ah, if only we had had the tools to make vids...the world would have to watch out! lol...
F-G, I guess i had a couple 'Elijah days' too, lol, what with seeing Happy Feet and all these videos... (Btw, out of curiousity, what exactly does 'loosh' mean? It sounds cool, i just don't know exactly what you meant by it, though i can guess. lol)
Yes, we definitely have to revive the Evanescence club... (Although i was the last one to post, so maybe one of you should before i post again... )
Btw, tomorrow is Dom's birthday (i believe). Kind of a random (but fitting) fact. I suppose it's not too far off topic (i hope), seeing as he's a hobbit too... lol
Frodo lives

Oh my goodness I've been gone awhile. I randomly came down with a terrible cold with a fever and everything! It was horrible. But now I'm better and ready to get back at it.
It would be fun to be able to make vids. But like Forever said, I'd be spending even more time infront of the computer if i could make them.
Eariel-gotta' love those Lij days! They can put a nice smile on my face for a while. And he does seem very comfortable with himself. Not really ashamed of who he is, that's always a good trait.
Happy Belated Birthday to Dom. 8)

Aww. Sorry you were sick Itarilde. I hope you're feeling better now!
Lij days definitely happen. I had an entire Lij weekend a few weekends ago where all I did was watch Lijahvids on YouTube. It was great. He's so funny. I was laughing. And he just has this incredible kind of infectious energy that makes him really fun to watch. He's definitely very much himself, which is something that I admire a lot in people. I think a lot of people in today's world are so concerned with fitting in that they're afraid to be themselves. Lij isn't like that. He's completely..... Elijah. And I think that's one of the reasons we're all so drawn to him. We value individuality. I know exactly what you mean, Forever, when you say he says things like he means them. Especially when he's talking about Frodo, you can tell that he's reallly thought about it and analyzed Frodo a lot, and it always feels like he really cares about the question that's being asked him, although he's probably answered that same question a thousand times before. He's very..... earnest. I like that. I think that's another problem with today's world. People don't mean things anymore. They don't mean it when they smile at you, they don't mean it when they ask how you're doing, they don't mean it when they say "I love you." So when you see/meet someone that really means what they say and do, it's special. And I think Elijah's deifnitely one of those people.
Sorry for the rant everyone. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. I guess some of the things I've been thinking just sort of poured out.

That's okay. It's good to be able to say what you feel. (By the way, I may not be able to make very long posts for a few days, since i hurt my thumb and it's a bit painful to type... I can't play piano, either, which is sad cause i like to play it very much...)
Wow, I just got on and the forum color had changed! It's pretty! I like the winter theme. But back to topic...
I had said I might post a poem in the Frodo club, but I'm still the last one to post there, so I think I'll post it here. Actually, it was at least partly inspired by the "Emancipation" that we were talking about in the other club (and somewhat influenced by Evanescence, once again ). This song's from Sam's point of view, and I suppose it could be during the scene in Rotk EE (i think) where the star appears between the clouds in Mordor... Anyway, here it is.
Sleep, Dear, in Death's Shadow
Weary with pain,
In the shade of your dreaming,
Lay your sweet head down, and slumber for a while:
Yet above any stain,
One Elfstar is shining--
Lovely as the Dawn that wakes the Lonely Isle.
Dreamless and deep,
Me dear, may you sleep:
Safe from all earthly harms--
Held tight in my arms!
Take my heart--it's all I have to give--
Drink up, me dear--I thirst to see you live:
Past hope and memory,
Draw all you've lost from me (even breath)--
I'll fill your starving soul with love,
And all I am is yours!
Tonight we'll not part--
Stay close, veiled from Fire--
Yet for you there's no escape from torment deep inside:
As ice takes your heart,
You burn on its Pyre--
I can't quench inner flames, but from the rest we'll hide!
Keep warm--you I'll hold--
Escape from the cold:
And yet I'd kiss your burning brow,
And sigh, "It's over now."
Take my heart--it's all I have to give--
Drink up, me dear--I thirst to see you live:
Past hope and memory,
Draw all you've lost from me (even breath)--
I'll fill your starving soul with love,
And all I am is yours!
Hang on to my voice--
I pour myself into the Void:
I don't mourn my choice
To die with you as Ring's destroyed!
Though Death haunts us, rest
Till Dawn wakes the Quest (I'll be here):
Take my heart--it's all I have to give--
Drink up, me dear--I thirst to see you live:
Past hope and memory,
Draw all you've lost from me (even breath)--
I'll fill your starving soul with love,
And all I am is yours!
Edit: Speaking of poems, I have a little something for you, girls:

EARIEL!!! *tackle-double-hugs* I love you for doing that!! It will take me weeks to read all of it - but I'm very happy about that fact! Eep, it's so beautiful! !
I'll make you an icon for linkage and add your link to my site tomorrow.
Yay, Christmas has almost come!
Btw: What does "Anarinya" mean exactly? Just curious.

EEP! DOUBLE EEP! EEP X A BILLION!!!
Eariel, it's stunning. I'm so glad that you got it up at last! It looks wonderful. As Forever said, it's going to take me years to read it all, but no doubt I will eventually. Congratulations! Finally, your amazing poetry is out there for the world to see. I'll most definitely be spreading the word.
By the way, I was very touched to see my name at the bottom of the page. Thank you. That quite honestly made my day, if not my month, year, life, you get it. So once again, thank you. I wish I had something to give you back, but all I can say is thanks.
As for the peom you've posted above, I LOVED it as usual. Beautiful, moving, lovely, flowing, everything your poetry always is. I think all of us Frodo girls can definitely relate to it too.
Once again, congratulations!

Lol, thank you, and you're welcome!! Don't worry--thanks are enough (tho it'd be nice, of course, to hear what you think of them as you read them ). Actually, I was quite complimented by your saying EEP!, lol. Forever, "Anarinya" means "my sunshine," roughly speaking. You'll find out more about that section when you read it. *loves arousing people's curiousity* Thanks, btw--I'll look forward to the linking icon. Your reactions made my day!

Here's your button! I added you to my affiliates.
---to insert it on your page, you'll have to do a bit html: Go on Edit and choose the Paragraph type of Raw HTML Paragraph. Then insert the html code
Code: <img src="http://i13.tinypic.com/2wptnrb.jpg"></img>
I hope you'll find out how it works. It took me weeks to get into the easiest HTML things.

Thank you very much, Forever. It's beautiful. Could you tell me how to do the equivalent of hitting the "enter" key (make a new paragraph within a "paragraph", if you know what i mean), and to choose what size letters i want in a raw html paragraph? I messed around a bit, but it's kinda confusing... Also, if you knew how to make a word "clickable" (like Starspray in your siggy and Woven of Dreams in mine) in that kind of paragraph, that would be great... (I tried it and it didn't work. Though maybe the url was wrong...) Anyway, thank you again!
