Giving a slight start of surprise at the man's sudden appearance, Alayna looked at him sharly, violet eyes narrowing slightly. Sensing no threat in him, however, she adjusted her expression so it was not as hostile. "Yes..I believe we do." she then said in response to his question, glancing to her sisters askance.

Naidele reluctantly released her hold on the hilt of her dagger. The man seemed sincere enough in his desire to help them. But then again, she didn't want to be too trustworthy. She nodded as Nakaida spoke.

He bowed again, and his silver hair fell forward to reveal pointed ears. "My name is Orindil. And yes, I know of an inn." He turned and began walking in the other direction. He led them from the stifling throngs of the marketplace, into a narrower side street lined with small privately owned shops.
After making a few turns, they arrived at a two-story inn next to a blacksmiths shop, where an apprentice was busily hammering away with clarion rings. "Would this do?" he asked, indicating the inn's privacy.

Naidele smiled her thanks to the man who helped them to find the inn. "This looks lovely," she agreed, "Thank you very much." She turned away and again stared with fascination at everything going on in the large city. She walked a few steps away from her sisters and peered in the blacksmith's shop at a man who was hammering at something.
