That's a hard choice, but I guess I would choose "Int the West" with "May it Be" as a very close second.

I really like May It Be. I think it's mostly because Enya sang it, and I like anything that Enya sings. . .but Into the West was very beautiful as well.

It is certainly Into the West for me, though I love both May it Be and Gollum's Song as well. They chose wonderful songs for the credits of all the movies. And each song, in some ways, represents the movie who's credits it's in.

Into the West. That one seemed to go perfectly with the end of the movie to me. And loved May It Be also.

1. Into the West
1. May It Be
3. Gollum's Song
Actually I really can't really decide between Into the West and May It Be. They are both so beautiful and Annie Lennox and Enya are both wonderful artists. However, I didn't like Gollum's song at all.

Big fan of Into the West here!
I think the music is just exquisite ... perfect even ... and combined with Annie Lennox's ability to go from so quiet and still to so powerful - mmmmm ::::shivers::::
Any time that theme crops up in ROTK I get a bit choked up.

I voted for Into the West. I like May It Be for it's celticness (is that a word) and Into the West is perfectly awesome. Gollum's Song has a great melody, but I don't like the singer's voice. it's too harsh in my opinion and she doesn't sound like a young woman. I think it doesn't suit LotR. Enya does. ok, maybe I'll stop here before half of you kill me. just my opinion.

^Agreed! And I also like the words. I personally feel very, very sorry for Gollum... I don't like him, but I pity him.

I pity him also. he's so forlorn and sad and lonely and no one likes him. I guess the singer suits in that way that she sound kind of Gollum. not quite but just very little. maybe that's why they chose her to sing Gollum's song.
