Viree13 returns to an invisible state and slides after the command, watching them warily......

"Nothing," na'Tatha replied to the Jedi Master. "Once they're dead, they're dead. We do have to worry about any death screams they may have had, though." She was referring to data that the munitions might have broadcast back to their central control. "We might be expected, or again, might not be."

Viree13 makes a face akin to '-_-'. "It'd be nice to know, rather than this 'might', you speak of...."

"Unfortunately, we can't, Sahrai said as he approached. "So we're just going to have to rely on whatever information Aivon and Ban come up with from their scanning of the door. The two commandos looked as though they were about done, with Ban poking through a mass of wiring that he had pulled out of the control panel for the hatch, and Aivon meticulously going over the inside to see if it was rigged to blow.
---
Daaron stood up as Aivon walked away from the entry and towards him. "Is the entrance clear?" he asked as soon as the other commando was within comfortable hearing distance. "The hatch is not rigged to blow, sir, which quite frankly surprises me. Either they're really careless or they have some other way to take care of it." "Well, they probably have that too, but there's not much we can do about it now. We're going to enter. Check inside with an optic probe before we move in, though."

na'Tatha waited for orders, checking her handheld sensor pack to make sure that her readings didn't contradict the commando's report.

Viree13 crosses her arms and goes completely invisible, with not even a waver. She also tones down her body heat as much as possible. "I don't like this......"

Sahrai tentatively felt beneath them with the Force, in the area where the entrance should open out into the underground bunker. No lifeforms detectable--that was a good sign.
He watched as Aivon completed his examination of the entrance, walking over to Daaron for a quick discussion. As the demolitions expert walked away, the Major gestured to Sahrai to come. Turning, Sahrai repeated the gesture to na'Tatha and Viree--or where Viree had been. Now there was no sign of her, meaning she had gone invisible. Viree, we need to have a fast conference with Daaron, preferably visible, he thought at her.
----
Daaron waited for the Jedi and the Taarin to come over. Since they were all working together, he wanted to get their opinions before he moved on with the forced entry.

na'Tatha swung up to her feet and quietly maneuvered over to Faradej and Fahl, watching her step on the graveled ground. "What have we got? And, more importantly, how can we get rid of it?" Passing an eye over the area once again, she added, "I recommend we split into two or three teams, one to stay and guard our exit, and one or two to go in. Master Faradej, since we're still depending on you to sense this ... whatever it is ... it will be important for you to coordinate the teams."

The invisible Viree13 nods and becomes a shimmer in the air. "This better?...." Her voice is slightly spectral, considering she's not fully formed.... lol

Sahrai frowned. "Are you saying that you think I should remain with the backup team? I'm not sure I completely understand what you meant."
----
Daaron glanced at the Taarin sub-commander, a grudging respect in his eyes. That was the same basic plan that he had come up with. At least it proved that Taarin military training wasn't as pathetic as those few people from this world that he had met before had claimed.
Unfortunately, there was one little difference between their ideas.
"If this..." he paused, trying to think of the most fitting term, "...target is Force-sensitive, as Sahrai has said, then, no offence meant to Viree, I would really prefer that he be present. If there are more of those Force-trained assassins, too, I think it would be more trouble than it's worth to face them without our own Jedi."

"I'm afraid I didn't make myself very clear, Major." na'Tatha spoke evenly, keeping the situation professional. "I quite agree that, in these circumstances, Force-sensitive personnel on the advance teams are preferable. Coordination does not need to imply disengagement." She met Fahl's eyes squarely. "I'm sure you realize that this is an extremely fluid scenario. Hence, I believe Master Faradej should have the final word on the position and actions of our forces, due to his specialized abilities. I also believe that whatever move we make should be performed very soon."
Shifting her stance, she looked down at the underground entrance again. They should have decided a hierarchy before they had even set out, but it was too late for that now. Her trigger finger itched, ready for some action, and she curled it tightly around her rifle's safety guard.

Sahrai nodded his head. "Ah...now I understand what you meant." He noticed na'Tatha glancing at the entrance and found his gaze drawn to the same location. "Daaron, I don't think we will be needing Anden or Jor when we're down there....snipers can't operate at maximum efficiency when they're in a small passageway. Leave two others of your pick behind with them, and the rest will come with us." The major passed the orders on to the specified commandos, and those, with two others, vanished into the woodland to set up a defensive perimeter.
---
Daaron smiled, watching Sahrai's admiration for the commandos. The Jedi could certainly equal their skill, and probably even surpass it, but he still found it surprising when he saw how fast other people could blend in with their surroundings.
"Okay, let's force an entry, then," Daaron said, sending Ban to see if he couldn't hack the entrance code to get them inside. If necessary, Aivon could set up a shaped charge that would destroy the hatch but leave everything else undamaged. He was definitely the best man with explosives Daaron had ever seen--even when he had been in the Katarn commandos there hadn't been anyone with talent as great as that.
"Ready?" He asked the others around him.

na'Tatha re-inserted her earplugs - she'd taken them out for the brief conference - and assertively snapped off her safety. "Let's get this party started."

Viree13 sighs. "And what am I, chopped bantha?.... Where do I come in?....."

Sahrai turned to the other Force-user. "You're going to be our forward scout, since that seems to be what you like best, anyways. You'll be a little ways ahead of us, and should we be ambushed by those without infrared equipment, you will be able to act as a secret weapon as well."
He walked over to the entrance, where he waited for a few minutes, until Ban looked up from the keypad.
"Got it," the commando said breathlessly, sweat trickling down his face. "They had a false layer on top, so if I tried to slice that one, I would have set off alarms all over the place. Thankfully, I wasn't fooled. We've got an entrance."
----
Daaron smiled as he heard Ban's words. We've got an entrance. It was so refreshing to hear something like that.
"Let's form up," he said, signalling the infiltration team. They crowded around the entrance, ready to slip inside the moment it was opened.
"Viree, Sahrai," he said, glancing at each in turn. "It'd probably be best if you two were the first ones down, since your reflexes are far better than ours, and should there be an ambush, you will be the most capable of handling it."

Viree13 laughs as she's told her assaignment. "Sounds good to me....." Her voice hisses away as she fades into air and heads for the entrance......
When Daaron signals her and Sahrai to go in first, she smirks. "Exactly what I was hoping for......."
